Hello hi! I'm keeping the cat.

Hello!

I'm doing the article for the video game website Polygon.

Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference?

  • Yes, there are corresponding notes and references for almost every fact.

Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic?

  • Yes, the article gives an overview of the site's formation, business model, and layout.

Is there anything that distracted you?

  • I think the quote from Justin McElroy in the "Content" section takes up a bit too much space.

Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?

  • I think the article is written in a neutral tone.

Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that biased noted?

  • The sources are from various interviews conducted by third-party sources such as Forbes and Poynter.

Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?

  • I don't think so, there are various views present all presented in a neutral tone.

Check a few citations. Do the links work? Is there any close paraphrasing or plagiarism in the article?

  • All the links are active and up to date, and I can't find any examples of plagiarism.

Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added?

  • As a regular at Polygon.com, everything looks up-to-date and the article is very complete, especially compared to the pages for other video game websites.
