Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. - Thank you, Diannaa!
- I did include quite a few new changes and original work (including the map and diagram) to that edit. Can you help me know what would need to be revised so as to not violate any copyright issues?
- Many thanks! N8vetrout (talk) 20:12, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- There was quite a bit of overlap with content at https://www.sciencegate.app/source/2043559029 in the evolutionary history and taxonomy sections according to the Ithenticate report. Also, since the article is listed as a featured article, I suggest you make smaller edits and/or make suggestions on the talk page rather than making one huge edit. — Diannaa (talk) 00:20, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
- That makes total sense. I appreciate the suggestions! Would I be able to copy the changes I made in the rejected version so that I can modify them in a draft version? N8vetrout (talk) 20:09, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- Copyright material is not allowed anywhere on Wikipedia, not even in sandboxes or drafts. I could email you the removed material, but you will have to activate your Wikipedia email first. — Diannaa (talk) 22:53, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- That makes perfect sense. I am committed to getting it correct! I've confirmed my email. I really appreciate your guidance. N8vetrout (talk) 13:50, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
- email sent. I have sent you the version of the article that includes your revisions. — Diannaa (talk) 21:32, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
