Hi. Wikipedia has a policy about adding negative information to biographies of living people. Please don't add such content without unimpeachable references. Blogs are not appropriate references for Wikipedia in general, and absolutely not for such biographies. Please keep this in mind as you edit here. Jkelly 04:14, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Jkelly 20:31, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
oh, you mean refrain from undoing YOUR edits? Well, please refrain from undoing mine.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mywikieditor2007 (talk • contribs) 20:40, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Your edits to Richard Dawkins
[edit]The article Richard Dawkins does not have a criticism section. Where possible, editors often prefer to place criticism throughout the article as appropriate, rather than create a section. Your additions also were about the book, The God Delusion, and as such, would be more appropriate in that article. It would help to discuss your desired edits on the discussion page prior to attempting to add them to the article, in order to ensure your desired changes do not cause conflict with other editors or our policies. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with WP:CON, WP:RS, and most importantly WP:NPOV and WP:V. These policies and guidelines are specifically applicable to the edits you are trying to make. you're wrong. The criticism is not about the book but about Dawkin's mis-analysis of geo-political conflict which he has asserted in numerous articles in talks outside the book -try not to be so so bias and careless when lecturing me about "NPOV".
As a courtesy to other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, and WikiProject pages. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info, read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. KillerChihuahua?!? 20:16, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
You have made an edit that could be regarded as defamatory. Please do not restore this material to the article or its talk page. If you restore this material to the article or its talk page once more, you will be blocked for disruption. See Blocking policy: Biographies of living people. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 03:06, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- 'could be regarded as defamatory' - please explain why and how it is from a newspaper - the previous excuse given by an admin was that the source was a blog - check the history - it is now from a newspaper - and verified. I think you and the other posters are simply being biased, and since you can't defend your bias, you simply threaten.
You didn't do the AfD right for this article. I fixed it for you. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 18:21, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
An article you commented on in the past is at AfD
[edit]I noticed that you commented in a past AfD discussion of the article Nicholas Beale. After being deleted then, it has been reposted and is now back at AfD again, so you might be interested in commenting again (but you are under no obligation to).
