Amazon Eve - start discussion on talk page

[edit]

Hi Mykidsbowl and Welcome to Wikipedia! I did not accept your change to Amazon's Eve's date of birth for a couple reasons. First, you need to provide a reliable source. Simply stating something in an edit summary is not enough. WP:SOCIALMEDIA is the specific section regarding Wikipedia's policies on using Facebook as a source (can only be used in very limited circumstances). Also, I believe this change may be viewed as contentious by the Wikipedia community so please start a discussion on the article's talk page so you can gain consensus for the change. This is Wikipedia's process for making content decisions. Please see WP:TP for a helpful guide on how to use talk pages. I will also leave you a Welcome message with additional information about Wikipedia's policies and other guides. If you have questions or need help, you can reach out the Teahouse where experienced editors are available to lend a hand. Best of luck! S0091 (talk) 18:44, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
