Hi!
[edit]I too have the "sockpuppet" tag, quite unjustly! I have been linked to you; you and I know we are not each other, to Bioinformaticist, to Philly Student, and a whole host of others whom I do not know! Don't they even check IP addresses?
I thought Wikipedia would be fun, and a good deed. Who are these bullies out there?
Thanks for supporting the articles on maths and mathematicians. We could use a "STRONG KEEP" vote from you for some female mathematicians: Marion Cohen and Roberta Wenocur. The bullies have already deleted Marci Perlstadt, Linda Zhao, Elaine Zanutto, and who knows who else?
Again, thanks. Contact me on my talk page, and vote "KEEP" or "STRONG KEEP" on us.
About Daniel H. Wagner, Associates, what is their problem with that company? MathStatWoman 15:54, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Sockpuppet tag
[edit]I have marked this account as a suspected sockpuppet of User:MathStatWoman, who has a previous history of sockpuppets.. The only contributions are to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daniel Wagner Associates (created by User:MathStatWoman) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SGGS on Meat, a nexus of related sockpuppet activity (see User:Ksingh20). - David Oberst 02:46, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- That's absolute rubbish!! I am a male while she is female; I am in the UK and I believe she is in the US. Where is your evidence? - Have you checked the ip addresses? Please check your facts before you jump to conclusions and make baseless and factually incorrect remarks. KSingh is a friend of mine and lives some distance from here - Again please check your facts before you make such worthless and untrue comments. What contributions I make is entirely up to me and none of your business! MxM Peace 11:16, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
The above Childish message was left on my user page by a baby called Master David Oberst. I am waiting for his proof - It will be a long wait!!! I hope you have the patience MxM Peace 11:40, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! Brian 20:28, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

It has been determined that MxM Peace is indeed User:Ksingh20, (by Fred Bauder, here). I've updated the sock tag accordingly. As Ksingh20 unexplainedly managed to recreate a deleted article written by User:MathStatWoman, the actual identity of these two new users is still an open question. - David Oberst 02:40, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

- What's the point of posting a useless link which has no benefit to anyone but you - I need proof by way of IP addresses and other research to show how you get to this wrong conclusion. Please - answering a simple question like that with a useless link show the calibre of your argument. Please don't waste your and my time. I do have better things to do then read these pointless links to edits which are nothing to do with the evidence that is required. I have told you what is required – if you can't provide that, then please just don't bother!! MxM Peace 18:53, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- You are entitled to use more than one user account. Fred Bauder 20:20, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- We are NOT discussing the use of multiple accounts - We discussing the accusation without proof of "imitation of another person"! No one is allowed to accuse another person of any offence without evidence. That is what we are discussing. It's pretty simple. When several users in high places go on an "accusation spree" and fail to produce proof, that I think has to be dealt with in a serious manner and stopped urgently. Further, various new users have been "blocked" by this system without any action by management. This is a violation of the Human Rights Act in the UK and EU. And I am going to put an end to this soon. --MxM Peace 21:02, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Legal threats
[edit]Regarding this: You have now been blocked indefinatly for violating wikipedia's policy of no legal threats. --InShaneee 23:21, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Gutka6.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Gutka6.JPG, which you've sourced to (Book Cover). I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 00:40, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
