Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Mweewee, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome!  AntiDionysius (talk) 14:18, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

hi i sourced the upated. u can also check the person's linkedin for further verification. rather than simply revert it to something incorrect, assist in getting the right references added to it. Mweewee (talk) 14:43, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to Eric Weinstein have been removed because the citation you added was another Wikipedia article, or on an external wiki. As discussed at our policies on circular sourcing and self-published sources, Wikipedia and other wikis should not be used in citations because they are not considered reliable sources. You are welcome to re-add the information using a better reference, perhaps from the article you originally cited. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 14:42, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

rather than engage in edit war please do your self a favor and look up the fact that he no longer works at Thiel Capital. Mweewee (talk) 14:44, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Removing unsourced or improperly sourced information is not edit warring. I'm sure you're correct about his employment history, but if it's going to go into the article it needs to be properly sourced, and neither a Wiki nor LinkedIn are suitable sources. AntiDionysius (talk) 14:47, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Who can do it? I cannot. some other people tried. Can someone please look into doing it correct? Since you keep reverting it, can you either contact your friends who can do it or help me in getting it done right? Mweewee (talk) 14:50, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's just a matter of finding a suitable source, really. A news article, press release, interview, something like that. Actually making the change is straightforward enough. AntiDionysius (talk) 14:52, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
