Regarding my edit to WUPV

[edit]

I read over the policies mentioned, and I don't see how my edit wasn't constructive. It added informstion about the station's programming that some might find interesting. If it would be better for me to list all of the former syndicated programming, then I will. Information on this type of television is hard to come by, and I personally feel having it on its wikipedia page would be a good start. Gokaiblue16 (talk) 13:07, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a directory, so listing every syndicated show that has ever aired on WUPV would be impractical. There are alternative outlets. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 13:12, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

While I see your point, I still feel this information should be included on the page. Gokaiblue16 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 13:41, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited KQSL, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KTLN (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

XHRBA

[edit]

XHRBA *is* on the books now. It was awarded in March. Raymie (tc) 01:43, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

But there's no article, so why put it there? Mvcg66b3r (talk) 01:45, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Meh, true. I can wait until it actually gets on air. I tend to have stations that are awarded but not yet confirmed on air listed in the radio templates (and the all-Mexican market TV templates), but I don't create the articles until I know they're on air. I don't mind waiting to insert it in the template, though. Raymie (tc) 01:48, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit cancellation

[edit]

hi Mvcg66b3r,

thanks for the welcome, but just wanted to know why exactly you cancelled my edits. i fixed a few grammatical errors, and helped the flow of the page.

i did this, as that is what the banner at the top of the page indicated as what needed work.

cheers

It's simple–You correct some errors, but create new ones! Mvcg66b3r (talk) 01:22, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Recent report at AIV

[edit]

Hello, Mvcg66b3r. I appreciate your interest in protecting content on Wikipedia, but am concerned that you labeled this edit as disruptive when it gives every appearance of being in good faith and the bulk of the changes are positive, and I'm particularly concerned that after a level 1 warning you reported the user to WP:AIV as a vandalism only account. Please try to remember that newcomers don't always do everything perfectly, but it is advised that we assume good faith until it is demonstrated that we should not. Changing non-standard language like "re-called" to "renamed" and separating the improperly depicted "newsmagazine" to "news magazine" are both evidence of good faith effort, and we should try to encourage such support from others when we can. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 03:20, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I was biting the newcomer. I apologize to him, and to you. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 03:29, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Gsnguy, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
