Comment on Tain Musuem footnotes
[edit]Greetings, your footnoting is definitely coming along, in terms of providing verification of facts in the article. One word on format: for example, on #8 you have "Hugh Ross Silver"[8], which doesn't really give any indication (looking at the footnote), who/what/when/where provides this info. Try instead formatting your footnote like this: <ref>[http://www.ross-shirejournal.co.uk/news/fullstory.php/aid/3673/Tain%27s_silver_comes_home.html ''Tain's silver comes home '']. Ross-Shire Journal, 4 April 2008</ref>, which will display as: "[http://www.ross-shirejournal.co.uk/news/fullstory.php/aid/3673/Tain%27s_silver_comes_home.html Tain's silver comes home ]. Ross-Shire Journal, 4 April 2008". That way all the info is visible. Apply this with all your footnotes, and it'll really clean up the article. Feel free to write me with any questions. License tagging for File:PrisonersofWar.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:PrisonersofWar.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:07, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:TTT001.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:TTT001.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]Hello, I'm Acroterion. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Definitions of fascism seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 00:08, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
The file File:Silver Spoon.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
