Speedy deletion nomination of Mind the gap(album)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Mind the gap(album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi... is it still tagged? I don't really understand what the problem is - I'm very new to this. I've added some more info to it in an attempt to save it, but I don't really know what I'm doing so I'd be most grateful if anyone could help. Thanks in advance. Phil Musophil (talk) 15:50, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- No, the CSD nomination was declined a while back. However, there are still issues with the article that are displayed in the box at the top of the page. Consider reading the links given there for more information. Good luck! → Dylan620 (Toolbox Alpha, Beta) 16:47, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
{{hangon}} is only used when an article has been nominated for a speedy deletion. In this case the article is being discussed as an 'article for deletion' and comments should be left on the relevant discussion page - in this case WP:Articles for deletion/LITE (band). Consquently I have removed your {{hangon}} from this article page. WP:Deletion Policy describes all the ways articles may be deleted fom wikipedia and how objections should be raised. Dpmuk (talk) 16:08, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I responded to your question about non-notability at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/LITE (band).--CastAStone//₵₳$↑₳₴₮ʘ№€ 19:35, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
==Speedy deletion nomination of Les doigts de l'homme==
A tag has been placed on Les doigts de l'homme requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. License tagging for File:LoveIsInTheAir.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:LoveIsInTheAir.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
