Please do not add links to pages which contain no new information compared to the article. Pavel Vozenilek 19:00, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I noticed that you reverted all my additions to wikipedia.

[edit]

Pavel I noticed that you reverted all my changes to WikiPedia. First of all, you shouldn't second guess that I was linking to my own sites as "advertising or a mere collection of external links". I am not a webmaster, nor do I own any sites. I was linking to those sites because I felt that they were beneficial to WikiPedia not only for the different pictures of composers, but also for the audio files of composers. What joy does one get from reading a biography of a musical composer, if they cannot hear some actually MUSIC of a composer. The sites I linked to provide a service which WikiPedia main site does NOT offer. Therefore your claim "Please do not add links to pages which contain no new information compared to the article" is not legitimate, for I am added a link to a page which DOES in fact give new information, in the format of music. Please put back my additions, as I feel you are harming the WikiPedia community as a whole by disallowing useful information, which could be used to enrich WikiPedia.

Well, I took look on your pages again and still think their content is already present in Wikipedia. The links to sheetmusicplus.com do look as sufficient reason to me, IMHO.
You may ask third person(s) for an opinion - just write your question on article Talk page, explaining the situation.
Generally, someone whose only activity on Wikipedia is to put external links into group of articles is in high risk of being reverted.
And please sign your edits on Talk pages with ~~~~. Thanks. Pavel Vozenilek 20:32, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
