DYK for List of Dexter awards and nominations
Good luck at FLC! Royalbroil 02:58, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Hugh Laurie
Thanks for returning the filmography here. I noted there wasn't one late last night and put it on my list to look into over the weekend. I thought there had been one. Thanks again! Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:21, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Re: Dexter
Good work so far! I'll see if I can write the seasons 2 and 3 introductions as soon as possible. Some of the season 3 episode summaries could do with a rewrite, too - but I'm yet to watch the finale. I'm pretty busy tonight but I'll see what I can do. :) —97198 (talk) 05:47, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've done the two intros (though you did half of s2!), and should have all of the episode summaries shortened soon. —97198 (talk) 04:23, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, it's all done. :) You might want to add a ref for season 4. Also, I don't think the Dexter poster can be used - I know it's on Flickr under a free license, but Kristin doesn't own the rights to the poster so she can't actually change the copyright status. It's probably still under copyright, and if so the fair use rationale probably wouldn't be strong enough to keep it on the page because it's not directly relevant. :S —97198 (talk) 05:02, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. And I think you misread my tone about the s2 thing, I meant that you did a better job than I did! :) The article could probably do with a copyedit before going to FLC, which I'll try and clear up, but it looks pretty good to me! —97198 (talk) 03:09, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
- Haha, never mind. I'll see what I can do tonight and I'm pretty busy tomorrow (Easter) but I'm free the next few days after that so I'll see if I can fix those up before the FLC closes! —97198 (talk) 13:13, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, I'm rewritten all of s2, and done a bit of s3. It makes me want to watch all of the episodes again! Hopefully I'll finish later today or tomorrow. —97198 (talk) 06:45, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- All's done for s2 and s3. :) —97198 (talk) 11:20, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:House-and-Wilson.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:House-and-Wilson.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:32, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Lost characters
You're too kind :) Seeing a new Lost character good article was a nice surprise when I returned here. By the way, your Michael Tritter article was one of the things that inspired me to work on the Lost character articles, I'd been keeping an eye on it from the early stages right through to featured article and thought you did a really good job. Sanders11 (talk) 14:04, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Cool thanks for letting me know, I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. The spoilerphobe within me is a bit reluctant to go on that page cause I reaaaaaally don't wanna know anything with the finale coming up. I had a go a while ago at writing a development for it and the article appears to have all the info I used, but I have a crapload of sources for doing the reception section I never got around to doing so I'm gonna try and get that done in the next few days. Sanders11 (talk) 22:19, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks!
Hey, thanks much for the applause! lol. Glad you liked the article; I'm part of a little group working on improving South Park episode articles and we just started on Season One. It's funny because it all started because the Season 1 episode articles were originally nothing but plot summary, so some users were proposing merging them with season episodes and getting rid of them altogether! That's how we all got started on improving these articles, so it's nice to hear feedback that people like the work that's getting done! — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 18:13, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, your help would definitely be welcome! The site is here and we're working on Season 1 at the moment. That project is part of the overall Wikipedia:WikiProject South Park, which has been sadly dormant for a while. As for the sources, I have some access to the LexisNexis database at my job, so I can get a lot of older newspaper and magazine sources that way. The books for the most part come from searching books.google.com, where you can read a lot of preview pages. (By the way, Lost and Dexter rule. lol) — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 18:27, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Not a problem; I meant to say in my old message that if you ever need sources, I'll help out where I can. :) — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 22:29, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comments! I just responded. And no, you're not being a bother at all. Do you have a specific episode you are looking for sources on? Or are you just asking for future reference? (And if you're talking South Park you could always just stick with books.google.com or Google News, then hit me up for sources if you need them later) — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 14:10, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll try to get you some for "Volcano", but it might not be until tomorrow or Tuesday. — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 17:58, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Michael Tritter
I have nominated Michael Tritter, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Tritter. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ... MistyWillows talk 01:29, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

House
Considered taken the character article to FA after the current season ends? It looks like FA quality to me. And two nonwiki points:
- What the hell is up with House!? And Amber!
- I loved Amélie. Maybe because it's French, bitches. Sceptre (talk) 01:48, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, I was thinking about it, but it needs some expansion regarding creation and reception. Also check this out, Amber will return as an hallucination this season. Yeah, Amélie was awesome, it's one of those movies that is a bit forgotten but it shouldn't be. I don't know what kind of music you like, but I just need to share this with everyone, these two songs ([1], [2]) rule. Later.--Music26/11 09:27, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
- Heh, those songs remind me (well, the first one) of Komm, süsser Tod from Evangelion, if only because the lyrics so totally don't match the music. Sceptre (talk) 14:07, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Comments such as, "The show's title is House MD, so why is the article still at House (TV series)?"? - Dudesleeper / Talk 16:39, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of YoungStar Award
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article YoungStar Award, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Unnotable awards
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 02:36, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

copy editing of house
I would have loved to do it, but I currently do not have time to spend :(. Try someone else. Griffinofwales (talk) 21:34, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, I've been copy-editing [[House (TV series}]]. As you may know, a new editor has been adding text about DVD releases, broadcasts etc. Although some of this is useful and referenced, you may wish to avoid it being swamped with information of limited relevance - does anyone outside that country care which channel broadcasts the program in Swaziland? I'm being slightly facetious here, but I'm sure you'll understand my point. Baffle gab1978 (talk) 01:41, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi, nice work on the George article, but I've removed File:Laurie-McInnernyBlackadder4.jpg from the article as it just shows two living people standing around looking like two living people--a basic violation of the NFCC. Good luck with the GAN! Bradley0110 (talk) 21:12, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- That's OK! It's a shame that there isn't a more varied selection of free Laurie images available to use across his articles though. Bradley0110 (talk) 19:27, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Re: Copy-edit request
Sure, I'd love to take a look at the House article! I'll probably get it done when I get home from my classes later today. (At about 3:00 PST.) It's one of my favorite shows, so I don't mind doing it at all. Sophus Bie (talk) 11:32, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I feel like such a schmuck, but life smacked me in the face. (More specifically, finals in 1 & 1/2 weeks.) All I've gotten a chance to do is look at the opening paragraph, which I saw no problems in... I probably won't be able to get it done in a timely manner. Sophus Bie (talk) 06:06, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

GA Sweeps invitation
Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am sending you this message since you are a member of the GA WikiProject. I would like to invite you to consider helping with the GA sweeps process. Sweeps helps to ensure that the oldest GAs still meet the criteria, and improve the quality of GAs overall. Unfortunately, last month only two articles were reviewed. This is definitely a low point after our peak at the beginning of the process when 163 articles were reviewed in September 2007. After nearly two years, the running total has just passed the 50% mark. In order to expediate the reviewing, several changes have been made to the process. A new worklist has been created, detailing which articles are left to review. All exempt and previously reviewed articles have already been removed from the list. Instead of reviewing by topic, you can consider picking and choosing whichever articles interest you.
We are always looking for new members to assist with the remaining articles, so if you are interested or know of anybody that can assist, please visit the GA sweeps page. In addition, for every member that reviews 100 articles or has a significant impact on the process, s/he will get an award when they reach that threshold. If only 14 editors achieve this feat starting now, we would be done with Sweeps! Of course, having more people reviewing less articles would be better for all involved, so please consider asking others to help out. Feel free to stop by and only review a few articles, something's better than nothing! Take a look at the list, and see what articles interest you. Let's work to complete Sweeps so that efforts can be fully focused on the backlog at GAN. If you have any questions about the process, reviewing, or need help with a particular article, please contact me or OhanaUnited and we'll be happy to help. --Happy editing! House FAC
Hey. I got your message, where you asked me to return to the FAC on the basis that you've "addressed all of [my] comments." Except that you haven't. I made very clear, more than once, that I believe the article needs a picture that shows what the members of the recurrent cast--or at least a significant portion of them--look like, an image such as the one the article included before Fasach Nua decided to oppose the article's promotion because that very image appeared. I'll note that DCGeist and Masem, in different ways, have agreed with the essential principle underlying my view. I'll also note that though you eliminated the image to assuage him, Fasach Nua hasn't even bothered to strike his oppose--doesn't that tell you anything about the seriousness, or lack thereof, of his view? I'm prepared to assist on this article further, but why would I be interested in doing so under the current conditions?DocKino (talk) 08:55, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

House FAC
Oof. I see the FAC was just archived. That's disappointing, given the progress that's been made. Anyway, it's almost there. I'll continue copyediting (please see the last query I posted to the FAC before it was archived). Whenever you choose to renominate it, you'll have my full support. DocKino (talk) 22:26, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- On the critical reception, it would be good to have a couple reviews from seasons after the first, just to suggest whether critics have felt that the show has maintained its quality or not. There must be reviews out there of season premieres or finales; critical descriptions might also be culled from appearances on top 10 lists and reviews of DVD releases. I wonder if the section might also be bolstered with some critics' responses to other core cast members beyond Laurie. DocKino (talk) 16:53, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
Hey Music2611. Nice job on Volcano (South Park), it's infinitely better than it was before. (I wish I could review it, but given that we're both in the featured topic drive, and that I sent you some sources, I probably better not.) I had a few suggestions for the article, though; the content is good, but there are a few structure and grammatical things I would suggest to make it more consistent with some of the other articles from that season. For example, I think you could add a "Cultural references" section, and I think the lead could be changed a bit to include less plot and more of the other elements of the article. I didn't want to do it without asking you first, but would you mind if I went ahead and did some tweaks? Obviously, it's your GAN, and if you don't like them you can change whatever I do back. And if you want, I could just send you my suggestions and you could do them yourself, but I thought it would be easier if I went ahead and did it and then you took a look at them. Let me know if that's OK. — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 14:20, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- I can get you sources for "Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut" no problem; it might have to wait until next week, but I will try to get them tomorrow if possible. As far as Volcano (South Park) goes, I hope I haven't overstepped my bounds here, but I ended up doing a lot more work on it than I expected. Take a look here. I expanded the lead, added some new stuff from a handful of new sources I found, and added a lot more from the commentary track. Obviously we don't want unnecessary detail as per WP:MOS, but since these are articles about the episodes themselves, it's totally appropriate to include details about the production of that episode (as per Damien (South Park) and Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo) so I added more. Again, I hope I'm not out of line here because I don't mean to interfere with your GAN. You did the real work and set the stage for my improvements. Please let me know what you think and feel free to change anything you disagree with from my additions. — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 02:45, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- I definitely plan to try for FAC on Weight Gain 4000 someday, but I thought I might nominate Starvin' Marvin (South Park) first. As far as my favorite episode, that's a good question! lol. I'm not sure if I have one, I'll have to give that some thought. As far as Volcano (South Park), yeah, still no luck on the Nielsen Ratings, unfortunately. I did find one source saying that the average rating for the first three episodes, including South Park, was 1.4, which I think translates to roughly a million viewers. I'll do the math later and if I can't find anything better, I can work that into the Reception section. If you want, I could be a co-nominator with you on the GAN and help you out when the review time comes around; but if you want that just yourself, that is totally fine. (I've already interfered enough. :D) Let me know. — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 16:51, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

- Just copy edited the article, and fixed a few minor nitpicks. There are a couple places where you might want to reword the "he said" "he said" parts, maybe by changing the word "said" to "claimed" or "stated". I also reworded several sentences to remove long, uninterrupted bits with lots of commas. I'll let it sit for a bit before taking another look at it. --RabidDeity (talk) 05:49, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

I looked it over and did a little copyediting. The additions to the "Critical reception" section really help. Just thought I'd say congratulations for getting your work featured on the main page! Made me smile to think I had seen it go all the way from GA to on the main page :) Hope you can get the House main page up to FA, it's looking really good. Sanders11 (talk) 16:21, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
House FAC
Hi, if you haven't seen it on your watchlist yet, I've found some very troubling issues with the referencing in the article (in particular, three citations that do not support the material they are being used to reference). In light of this, I think it's necessary to check all of the citation to find if there are any other errors. I'm willing to help with the offline news article (as I have access to a variety of databases), and I assume that you own the books cited (if not, we can probably find someone that does). Checking back over all the citations, however, will probably be a long and involved process, so you might want to talk to SandyGeorgia to see about putting the FAC on hold while this is done. Hopefully, we'll be able to resolve this quickly and without finding too many more mistakes :). Cool3 (talk) 16:12, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (File:DaleWidmore.gif)
Thanks for uploading File:DaleWidmore.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 20:31, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:JanNiklasanastacia.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:JanNiklasanastacia.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 20:34, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

House episodes
I'm a big fan of House, so helping work on the FAC for it is no problem. I did not forget or ignore your request to help out on the House episodes article that you are expanding (which looks really good, nice work). I just wanted to get the main article to featured status first before thinking about other articles. Once we get that article promoted I'll be happy to look around at the other House articles and see what we can do about maybe creating a featured topic. LonelyMarble (talk) 11:05, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
List of house episodes
Hi,
Just a few thoughts.
Would oyu mind me mergin the informaiton in each season round up into the main article jsut now? would oyu also mind if i merge in the audience share for each episode jsut now?
I have oen problem with the overview, it is to compact and lose information the current one i have developed give far more information and the dvd releases have been split out of it as per other FL's , other than that i think you have done really good work and hopefully the list will be FL very soon--Andy (talk - contrib) 10:10, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- I would also like to merge Music's workpage into the article. I have started a discussion about the best way to do that here. I think this list is pretty close to being featured, it just needs some polishing. I think we should first merge the workpage into the article though. Any thoughts about this Music? GA reassessment
Hi, Music2611. The George (Blackadder character) article, passed as a GA, has now been nominated for a good article reassessment. The article may not currently meet the good article criteria. We can explore any rough edges keeping it from meeting the criteria at the reassessment. Reviewers' concerns are here.
I do recall it being nominated as a GA, and how it was completely overhauled in one substantial edit by you, which you'd clearly done a lot of work on for some time. Given that, the best outcome in my view will be to enhance it for it to retain its good article status, rather than delist it—I will help with that as much as I can. Thanks. –Whitehorse1 23:41, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- The assessment has been open a while now. A big concern—now fixed, was the unreliable references. Please could you check in & take a look at the review. Thanks. –Whitehorse1 01:28, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

420 (Family Guy)
Hi there! Saw you recently nominated a couple of Family Guy episodes for Good status, so just thought I would let you know I am trying to round up some fans to improve the "420" episode and get it to Good status as well. If interested, feel free to take a look at it. Otherwise, keep up the great work! --Another Believer (Talk) 19:50, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
House awards
Hello! I noticed you are adjusting the article about the awards of House MD. I wish to point out that I have updated the Italian version of the article (34 nominations & 103 wins). If you want you could also upgrade the English one, so the articles can match. Thank you --RanZag (talk) 10:39, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

PTV (Family Guy) GAN
Hey, I've began a review of your GAN. I've just started here. Overall, the process should take ~a few days to a week, depending on the article. Just a heads up. Cheers, I'mperator 22:15, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
The article PTV (Family Guy) you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Article for things needed to be addressed. I'mperator 20:06, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

North by North Quohog
The trailer for North by Northwest is in the public domain. So, you can use images from commons or do a screen grab from videos of it on the net like here. Re: LexisNexis
I'll try to get to it in a reasonable amount of time (the House's Head thing, which I totally forgot about, go figure), but trawling for Seinfeld sources for a season is going to take a good amount of time either way. What exactly are you looking for in the latter? --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 17:56, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
Re:Seinfeld
Hey Music. I'm actually on vacation this week and have Internet access, but do not have Lexis access. I can try to look, but it will probably be a week at the earliest. Sorry about that... — Hunter Kahn (c) 23:24, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
