Mushroom, hi. I noticed that you Prod-ed, deProd-ed, and then reProd-ed this article. When you removed the Prod tag, your comment was "not a hoax, stub". This is what happened: an anon tagged it as "attack page", but it wasn't an attack page, so I made a Google search, I didn't find anything and prodded it. But then I saw that Solzhi, the author, had created another non-hoax article, Alan Hake, so I thought that maybe he was real but not very well known. Later, User:Paolo Liberatore asked me why I had de-prodded it, so I checked with Google again and he doesn't seem to exist. Even if he existed, he wouldn't be notable enough. "does not assert notability" I created this article and it was very important, I used to go to the school he worked at and even did team teaching with him, becuase of his importance at the school and especially all the reports about him, the awards he won, his name has even been mentioned on the internet. Hallo, Since you have alreay found related google hits and a book at Amazon, I, and many staff at Trinity could dabate this with even Jimmey Wales and the creators of WP:BIO. There are many wikipedia policies that seem too UK/US centric. Why are soo many articles on the English language wikipedia UK/US centric unti I edit them, do there editors think that we Australians are a "non squitur" race?Myrtone (the strict Australian wikipedian)(talk)
I know that many articles are not NPOV and I think they should be improved, but I can assure you that I have nothing against Australians (I'm Italian, so why should I?). Anyway, since you think that Jon Carnegie is notable, I have decided to undelete the article. If someone nominates the article for speedy deletion I will ask him/her to take it to WP:AFD instead. Deleted Category

Hi there - why have you deleted a category (Albums owned by User:RichardHarrold) that is probably the thing that best illustrates who I am? Pig. User:RichardHarrold

Usually I don't reply to personal attacks, but I think pigs are cute, so this time I will. Your "category" was not a category, it was a list, and since it was a personal list it should have been in the User: namespace. I have undeleted it and moved it to User:RichardHarrold/Albums. Removing image licences

Hi. I notice you've been removing licence tags from some images, with the edit summary "the uploader must provide evidence". Which guideline requires evidence, or supports arbitrary removal of the licence tag? Michael Z. 2006-03-10 17:38 Z

I did that for two images that were {{PD-USSR}}. The template itself says:
The uploader must provide evidence to show that all points listed above hold for this image. If they do not, please re-tag this image.
I properly contacted the uploader and informed him of what I did. The images were later retagged by User:Alex Bakharev, since the uploader has been blocked until December 2006. Mushroom (Talk) 02:39, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Any Password

Hi there, you suggested to delete my entry about Any Password because its not notable. But what about Password Safe? Then this would have to be deleted too. Someone from this IP has been vandalizing the page Super Mario Bros. television series by adding notes on characters, actors and episodes that don't exist; at least not according to the website tv.com (and my own personal memories of the shows in question). Looks like the same person might be back, but under a slightly different IP: 208.11.162.197 (likely a dynamic IP). Some of the edits are identical to previous junk edits. -- VederJuda 23:25, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Why did you delete my article ?

I created an entry for a game called Curry Balloon Polo that you deleted without any discussion. Care to explain yourself ?

I am attempting to build a page for the Employers Resource Council in Cleveland, OH. You deleted it today, probably due to the copyright message at the top. However, I had already removed the accidental copyright issue and have been actively attempting to fix any other problems. Please advise as to what I need to do to set the page back up. Thanks for getting back to me. I looked over the requirements and do feel the organization meets them. I've seen ERC in the news in local papers such as the News-Herald and larger publications like Crain's Cleveland Business, Inside Business Magazine, and The Plain Dealer. These publications cover millions of people and there are many mentions of ERC and their NorthCoast 99 program. It also seems their consultants are frequently quoted in the paper - I feel even this would merit an article for anyone that wants to know why an individual from a company they may not know about is being quoted in one of Ohio's largest newspapers. someone changed my watchlist

Hi Mushroom, I noticed that you are an administrator, and I was wondering if you might be able to answer my question.

Yesterday, I noticed that someone had changed my watchlist and added some nonsense, non-existent article to it. I forget the exact title--something like "Bppbbpppbbpptbtbbb". Do you know how this could happen? No one else has access to my computer. In any case, I've already removed the nonsense article from my watchlist.

User Ted Wilkes

User:Ted Wilkes has again violated his probation. Although he is "banned from making any edit related to a person's alleged homosexuality or bisexuality" (see [2]), he edited the Boze Hadleigh article heavily dealing with the homosexuality or bisexuality of celebrity stars, thereby denigrating the author and reverting the edits of another user. See [3]. Based on recent checkuser evidence, Ted Wilkes, Danny B. (usurped) and Karl Schalike appear to be the same. See [4]. As both Danny B. (usurped) and Karl Schalike have contributed to articles related to the alleged homosexuality or bisexuality of famous personalities (see [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12], [13], [14], etc. etc.) thereby violating the probation of Ted Wilkes (see [15]) more than five times, Ted Wilkes, who has wasted the time of many users, administrators and arbcom members, should now be blocked for one year or hardbanned indefinitely, especially in view of the fact that he also seems to be identical with multiple hardbanned User:DW alias User:JillandJack. See [16]. The arbcom ruling says, "Should Ted Wilkes ... edit any article from which (he is) banned (he) may be blocked for a short period, up to a week in the case of repeat offenses. After 5 blocks the maximum block shall increase to one year." See [17]. On 28 February 2006, administrator Jtdirl admonished Ted Wilkes not to breach arbcom rulings again: "You have now made 3 breaches of the arbcom ruling, the two that caused this weeklong ban and the one that caused the earlier ban. If you make 2 more at any stage before the expiry of the arbcom ruling, or its amendment, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia for one YEAR. See [18]. Onefortyone 16:14, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Ted Wilkes

Hi,

I unblocked Ted Wilkes and then imposed a one year ban. You blocked him for various breaches. I have been dealing with him quite a lot lately and was focusing specifically on the arbcom ruling. He had already breached his probation and prohibition 3 times. When his sockpuppet edits are examined, they suggest up to 10 breaches, all of which would have led to blocks if it was realised who the editor was at the time. In the circumstances I think the full maximum timespan allowed by the arbcom of one year is reasonable and proportionate. Lower blocks could be imposed as warning shots, but Wilkes has shown complete contempt for the arbcom ruling. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 19:26, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi, in fact that was just a temporary thing: I didn't know the user's history (and the ArbCom ruling) very well and I hadn't time to analyze his edits, but I wanted to block him anyway after the CheckUser proved that he was using sockpuppets. User Wyss

User:Wyss has now accused me of being a sockpuppet of User:Karl Schalike (though, according to CheckUser, Karl Schalike is a sockpuppet of Ted Wilkes), and she again accuses me of fabricating texts, of being a troll etc., as she did in the past. She says:

User:Karl Schalike, like you, is a single topic editor (the very same topic and writing style, by the bye). Given your contribution history, for all I know User:Karl Schalike is a sockpuppet invented by you to for the purpose of making your wonted accusations of sockpuppetry while at the same time furthering your own narrow agenda of violating WP's writen sourcing policies and for the xth time, merely having been published or the presence of a PhD after an author's name do not of themselves automatically qualify sources for citation in articles under WP policy.
Moreover, multiple editors and admins have shown many of your article edits to be either fabricated from whole cloth or taken from sources which were similarly fabricated, never mind the vast quantities of repetitive and disruptive material you have posted to article talk pages. Please review WP:TROLL and WP:Sockpuppet, which I think apply to your edits on Wikipedia...

See [19]. I would say that this is a personal attack. This user, who is placed on Wikipedia probation (see [20]) seems to behave as aggressively against me as she did in the past. Onefortyone 18:43, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Accusing you of being a troll and a sockpuppet is certainly a personal attack, but I see no reason to block User:Wyss, considering that she has stopped editing articles on March 4: she only edits her talk page, and even if she was blocked, she would still be able to edit it.
