Hello! I very much enjoyed reading about the Ingush towers and wanted to thank you for your hard work. I do believe this article would make an excellent candidate for Did you know?, Let me know if I can assist if you are interested in nominating it. Annwfwn (talk) 18:28, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @Annwfwn! Thank you for your interest and appreciation for the article! I would love to nominate it, if you believe it would make a good candidate. How would I go about it? Muqale (talk) 08:20, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
- There is a blue box here you can fill out to nominate it. The article will then get flagged to be reviewed by another Wikipedian. They may have questions and/or suggestions to improve the page. Once that is complete, the article will be featured on the main page.
- Two sentences that I thought would make a good hook: "Did you know that Ingushetia is sometimes called “the country of towers" after the Ingush towers, unique medieval monuments found throughout the region?" or "Did you know that many Ingush towers remain unexplored due to inaccessibility and various restrictions?" I think this will be interesting as I don't think Ingushetia is well-known to much of the world. Annwfwn (talk) 13:40, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
- Great! Thanks again @Annwfwn. Muqale (talk) 06:58, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

DYK for Ingush towers
[edit]On 26 February 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ingush towers, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Ingushetia is often called the "land of towers" after the Ingush towers (examples pictured), unique medieval monuments found throughout the region? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ingush towers. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Ingush towers), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
