Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Mary Bridge Children's Hospital logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Mary Bridge Children's Hospital logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Steel1943 (talk) 21:22, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Help me!
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
The page for the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital has the parent company name in it and we need to move it so that it simply reads "Mary Bridge Children's Hospital".
I cannot make this move myself. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MultiCare_Mary_Bridge_Children%27s_Hospital_%26_Health_Center
I an the manager for digital servicecs at MultiCare Health System, and would love some assistance with this. The info box in Google search results for "Mary Bridge" searches uses the title of the Wikipedia page and not the GMB location page which is correct.

- Hello Jeremy, and welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you decide to stay. I must first direct you to Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest (COI). From what you said you are a paid contributor, editing on behalf of the organization paying you. Please declare your COI clearly on your userpage. Second, when editing articles that you have a COI with, you should declare your conflict on the talkpage of the article with {{connected contributor (paid)}}. You should also request the edits and not make them yourself (using {{request edit}} on the article's talk).
- Finally, I should remind you that Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion. That means that although Wikipedia is among the very first results on search engines, that's not a factor in accepting changing an article's title (and, in fact, might be the reason the move gets reject for).
- I'm sorry if this seems a lot or excessive, but please understand that it's all to keep Wikipedia an encyclopedia.
- As for the move itself, please submit a move request, and present a reliable source or neutral reasoning for the rename. This ideally would be the official title of the hospital. Don't forget to declare your COI when doing so.
- Please use {{ping|Hexafluoride}}, or {{helpme}} again, if you need any further help. —Hexafluoride Ping me if you need help, or post on my talk 21:58, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
