Sorry
[edit]Sorry for the confusion on the 9/11 post. That was for a paper I was writing on the validity of articles found on here. I had every intention of removing it immediately after I had printed it.
Hey Thanks

Corvette forums
[edit]I had a brief look at the Corvette forums corvetteforum.com and corvettevalley.com. They don't seem commercial to me but just a way for corvette nuts to keep in contact. I didn't look carefully, but if these sites carry ads at all, they are not blatant like you'd expect from a commercial site. Maybe you could have a look for yourself, and, if you agree with my assessment, reinstate the deleted external links -- with an NPOV description. Lambiam 00:37, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
REQUEST FOR FURTHER INFORMATION IN RE MEDIATION DISPUTE
Hi, I am the mediator here. I have some questions, and a request for a statement. Please advise if this dispute is only about that specific reference to www.corvettevaley.com (sp.) or is there other disputes? Next, what is your position on the matter -- please submit a short statement.
I sent an identical request to 641.xxx.etc.
Thank you for your response,

DALY
[edit]Sure, make any changes you want! I created the article in a hurry while writing a paper. Regarding the hyphen, I don't know if it is necessary, but the WHO and my epidemiology text book both use it. Actually, I think grammatically a hyphen is needed when you use a noun to modify something, but the rule is foggy, and I don't feel strongly about that sort of thing. --Chinawhitecotton 00:44, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
test no good?
[edit]I noticed you changed the {{test}} tag on User:Dipshit02's talk page that I put there to the actual text. Is there something I should know about that tag? I guess I shouldn't be using it...? Dismas|(talk) 14:51, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Why would you return the page about Kosovo from an ultra-nationalistic Albanian point of view. What do you know about Kosovo —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gianni ita (talk • contribs) .
I honestly do not understand
[edit]Hey, thank you for your meessage. Hjowever, I cna honestly say I do not know hat I did wrong. I am not refuting your statements. i just want to know what I did wrong and why it is wrong so I can correct it in the future. (Steve 20:54, 25 February 2006 (UTC))
Welcome
[edit]I'll try, but I will probably forget since I rapid welcome(done over 400 today). Could you explain the signifigance of not substing, by the way? Thanks. Karmafist 18:26, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- The server load is a good reason, but the vandalism isn't really since it's perma-protected for the most part. I'll try my best, since i'm aiming for 1,000 edits today and the majority of those edits will come from welcomes, but i'm honestly "in the zone" for the most part, so I can't promise anything. After my re-rfa, i'll probably go back to substing in my personal welcome message, I stopped using that for awhile as a favor to my friend, but for some reason, people think that newbies aren't capable of understanding things. Eh, whatever. 540 more edits to go after this one. Karmafist 18:43, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- I'm trying, but like I said, I can't promise anything at this rate. I'll have around 400 to make in about 5 hours if all goes according to plan. Karmafist 18:59, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- I've been substing for the past hundred or two now, but the edits are loading slower. Is it me or the servers, you think? Karmafist 20:26, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Heh, at this rate, I wouldn't put that past me today. Now where did I put my cape... ;-) Karmafist 21:37, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Subst
[edit]Thanks for quickly letting me know that I forgot to add subst: to the new welcome template I started using. I appreciate it very much.

hi
[edit]thanx for your help, i'm new to this place, and i don't know that well how things work here. I will try to do my best now to discuss with the others what can be done about the ultra mega giga biased article on Kosovo.
Your bot welcome subst request
[edit]I ran a massive list of subst'ing on the welcome series, the list went from 28,000 to 4,000 but now its back at 6,000 (though a lot of those are non user talk pages that the bot would skip. I'll re-run it again as soon as I'm done subst'ing the test series. Tawker 07:55, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Ahh ok, sorry for the confusion there,
three revert rule
[edit]I think it was you that blocked me on a three revert rule. One was a "minor" to add a missing bracket on a citation. Could you please unblock.

Please help
[edit]I'm asking you for help, again, because of a constant vandalism on Kosovo page (by user called Isa Mulaj. Could you lock the page again, but previously return the older version made by user Litany, which is a lot more unbiased. Thanks, Gianni ita 17:55, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Someone did change the article. Thanks anyway. Gianni ita 20:07, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Rick perry.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Rick perry.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 04:17, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
RfC on RPJ
[edit]Hi. I'm advocating a case on behalf of a user who is experiencing numerous problems with RPJ. I can see from RPJ's talk page that you have interacted with him in the past. If you have a moment, would you be so kind as to head over to the RfC page and leave any guidance that might help in resolving this dispute. Thanks so much, and have a great day! →Bobby← 15:46, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

Extreme mastication
[edit]The speedy was removed since I felt it was better to redirect this to the article on mastication. Vegaswikian 08:52, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Mulder416. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Nuvola Firefox icon.png) was found at the following location: User:Mulder416. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 07:25, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Notification of automated file description generation
[edit]Your upload of File:Central Market north Austin.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
