Vaccine passports during the COVID-19 pandemic
[edit]Hello, I'm CaffeinAddict. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Vaccine passports during the COVID-19 pandemic seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CaffeinAddict (talk) 22:33, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]Welcome MuirchertachP!
I'm CaffeinAddict, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Hi there, I haven't done any counting, and I won't be taking you to any noticeboards, but do be watchful of the 3 revert limit -- a revert is any time you change or remove another editor's text. If you do that more than three times in 24 hours, you're likely to get some sort of sanction. Just a word to the wise. Cheers. Dumuzid (talk) 23:01, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
Vaccine passports during the COVID-19 pandemic
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Vaccine passports during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. CaffeinAddict (talk) 15:52, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- This version - which you reverted - was fine. The points I made on the talk page are not equivalent to the actual reasons behind governments imposing a passport. Be careful about WP:DE. Zefr (talk) 01:22, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- MuirchertachP, some of your recent edits appear to be disrupting Wikipedia to illustrate a point. There's no "Zefr standard". Firefangledfeathers (talk) 02:14, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in COVID-19, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Disruptive editing
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Vaccine passports during the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be blocked from editing. CaffeinAddict (talk) 01:19, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
