Hi Muffin of the English. Thanks so much for keeping Wikipedia clean of vandalism. I appreciate your efforts but we should typically follow Template:Uw-vandalism1 and go stronger after more vandalism. I don't think this IP deserved a level four warning after one act of vandalism. Please just keep in mind to not WP:BITE. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 21:42, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4:I normally follow the normal escalation process, but this particular edit was a direct link to porn hub on a biography of a living person. Considering these circumstances I think that a 4im could be justified. Muffin of the English (talk) 21:45, 7 October 2019 (UTC) @HickoryOughtShirt?4:
- I can absolutely see your point but what do you mean? The IP linked to porn on a school website, not a BLP. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 21:47, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4:It was a school website? I rembember it being that of a living person, but I could be wrong. In the situation that happened what would you recommend? Muffin of the English (talk) 21:49, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- In this situation, or the situation you thought occurred, I still would not immediately jump to a level 4. I like to always exhibit WP:AGF, even if someone clearly vandalized. We have had users who used to vandalize become good editors. So I recommend always giving at least one lower level warning before level 4. By the way, pings only work if you ping me in the same edit you sign your signature with. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 21:51, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4:Thanks for the pinging help! So that would be a level 3 vandalism tag? If so I will use that policy in the future. Muffin of the English (talk) 21:53, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- Level two or three. I used level 1 because I see this was the first time they edited Wikipedia in this manner. It's really up to your discretion but just be careful about using Level 4. I was in your shoes not too long ago, never be afraid to ask me questions :). HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 21:55, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4:Thanks for your help! I will follow your advice in the future. I am still quite new hear and definitely learning a lot every day. Muffin of the English (talk) 21:57, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

Could you please help me with editing?
Hi, I need help with adding entries called to a list called the List of fugitives from justice who disappeared. I have contacted you because made edits to people on the list and I can see that you are a good editor as well. Davidgoodheart (talk) 22:09, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Davidgoodheart: Looks like a very interesting list. I would love to help, what entries do you want added? Muffin of the English (talk) 01:04, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for replying so fast, and YES it is very interesting. Please start of by added all entries from Category:Fugitives wanted by India who aren't on the list yet to the list. The list gets over 1000 views per day, so any entry that can be added is worthwhile. Davidgoodheart (talk) 04:32, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for your recent edits! I really needed help with that. I will get back to you soon, take care. Davidgoodheart (talk) 21:34, 10 October 2019 (UTC)

Three of the four of my edits you deleted as "removing content" were in fact additions: additional material, references, or Wikilinks. The fourth was explained on the talk page.--217.155.32.221 (talk) 16:04, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
- @217.155.32.221: Thanks for bring this to my attention. In this situation I did make a mistake in reverting the deleting of that section, especially considering you talking about the planned edit on the talk page before making it. Thank you for fixing that error. If you have any other questions you would like answered feel free to message me back on this page and I will try to answer them. Muffin of the English (talk)`
- OK, thanks.--217.155.32.221 (talk) 16:59, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
