[edit]Hello, I'm Amortias. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Benjamin King (actor), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Blocked
[edit]You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
below this notice.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
below this notice. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:54, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
Some things to consider:
- In your unblock request, you may request a username like "Sally at MuchandhousePR" to comply with Wikipedia:Username policy while still indicating that you are editing in behalf of a PR firm.
- Even if you create a new account rather than appealing this block, you must still comply with Wikimedia:Terms of Use, which require you to disclose any paid editing done in behalf of clients. You should use your user page for this disclosure.
- As someone with a conflict of interest, you may not edit your clients' articles directly in any significant way. You must propose changes on the article talk page (which you have been doing already, keep it up).
Thanks for your understanding. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:54, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

Here are a few key questions:
- Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
- Do you understand conflict of interest?
- Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?
You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 15:47, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
Note to reviewing administrators
[edit]Instead of continuing to appeal this block, this user has evidently chosen to engage in the same identical disruptive activities that led to the block. See 173.196.31.94 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) contributions as well as talk page notice. ~Amatulić (talk) 21:03, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
