Naming of historic Austrian railways
[edit]Hi Mu2. I'm simply following the naming pattern that seems to be used in the literature for these sorts of railways, not just in Austria but elsewhere. As an example, Ellis in The Pictorial Encyclopedia of Railways refers to "the Austrian State and the Austrian Southern Railways" on p 102. Ransome-Wallis in Preserved Steam Locomotives of Western Europe refers to the "Austrian Southern Railway" as well the "Southern and Western" main lines. I can't find a mention of the Northern Railway, but you can see the pattern. In summary, I have gone for a translation that conforms to English naming of such railways and that is used in the sources I can find, rather than a literal translation in this case. Koralmbahn
[edit]Hi, I just extended the article Koralmbahn with content from my draft. I incorporated the section you wrote. Still, there is some work to do. I hope I can extend the description of the several sections of the Koralmbahn in the coming days. Gugganij (talk) 20:08, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
