Proposed deletion of Laurence Morton

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Laurence Morton, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

non-notable music teacher, meets neither WP:MUSICBIO nor WP:TEACHER

I've added some information from online sources, but it is clear that the article was writen by someone (you?) who knew him personally. Such articles tend to have a problem with sourcing. I hope you can help. Debresser (talk) 21:05, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

I did not know the subject personally, nor did I write the article. I posted it for someone else. I do believe that he is a notable person involved in music, but I agree that the article needs both cleanup and better sourcing and information. I attempted some internet research on the subject, but that yielded little. I can see if the original article author can provide more information? matt (talk) 23:16, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

About Me

I have been kicking around online here since April'09. I struggled, like most newbies, and slowly gained experience. Most of what I learned was self taught. For months I edited and warred (under a different identity), making friends and also disgruntling several editors. This month I started fresh under my new name.

I tinker with improvements, including fixing page layouts. I've created some userboxes in the past. I love tutoring newbies and whacking vandals.
