Your draft article, Draft:Salesgenie

[edit]

Hello, Mswari. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Salesgenie".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Sam Sailor 16:42, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am not a vandal

[edit]

Hi,

I clearly communicated in the edit summary my reasons for erasing the legislative tenure section of the Carol Blood article. That section appears very impartial as it seems to include only the bills that Carol Blood was successful in passing. That is why I linked to WP:IMPARTIAL and WP:NOTADVOCACY in the edit summary. I just want to assure you that my intention was not to vandalize the article in any way.  Bait30  Talk? 03:54, 25 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Carol Blood January 2020

[edit]

Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to Carol Blood has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please don't use the uwvandalism template series on me and stop reverting my edits with the excuse of "reverting vandalism". I am not a vandal. Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SeriousPolySci2020, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

It appears that you are engaged in an editing dispute on the article about Carol Blood. This block is in place for the following reasons related to the dispute:

  • During an editing dispute, it is important that editors remain calm and refrain from repeatedly reversing each other's edits. This sort of back-and-forth repeated reversal is called an "edit war" and is considered disruptive because it tends to generate animosity between editors and leads to instability on the article. Instead of repeatedly changing an article back to one's preferred version, editors are instead encouraged to discuss the issue with each other on the article's "talk" page; in the case of Carol Blood, the talk page exists at Talk:Carol Blood. You can find it by clicking the "Talk" tab on the article.
  • Secondly, during the dispute, you misidentified the good-faith edits of the user Bait30 as vandalism. On Wikipedia, the term "vandalism" has a very specific meaning: when someone commits vandalism, they intentionally mean to harm a Wikipedia page. The key is intention. Even if you believe an edit is unhelpful or nonconstructive to an article, it would not be considered "vandalism" on Wikipedia unless the editor that submitted the edit wanted to harm Wikipedia, which is not the case here. The reason this distinction exists is because it can be demoralizing for good-faith editors to hear that their edits are "vandalism", and once again, it can also generate animosity between editors. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Vandalism as well as Wikipedia:Assume good faith.
  • Finally, it appears that either you or someone you know created the SeriousPolySci2020 (talk · contribs) account in order to join in repeatedly reversing edits on Carol Blood's article. Recruiting friends or creating multiple accounts for this purpose is not allowed under Wikipedia policy, and doing so frequently leads to a block—please see Wikipedia:Sock puppetry for more information.

I hope this provides a helpful explanation for why this block is in place. Mz7 (talk) 07:27, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was blocked for sockpuppetry. However, this is the only Wikipedia account I have. I have no idea who SeriousPolySci2020 is, nor do I have any relation to them. Mswari (talk) 23:59, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time. Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Mswari/Archive paints a different picture. What is your relationship to Carol Blood? Please read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID-- Deepfriedokra 06:13, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
