WWE ONS
Take a look at Hardcore wrestling. A Lumberjack match fits in there. Since the match was under Extreme Rules (all matches by default were under extreme rules), that applied to the match as well. It still mentions the tagline, so what is the problem? Lrrr IV 03:34, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

WWF Undisputed Championship
screen cap from No Way Out 2002 DVD and screen cap from WrestleMania X8 DVD-- bulletproof 3:16 07:59, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- and just for the hell of it... here's a screen cap from Vengeance 2001 DVD-- bulletproof 3:16 08:04, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Per Wikipedia:Verifiability it stays as WWF Undisputed Championship. Oh and next time be aware of what Wikipedia:Vandalism actually means. -- bulletproof 3:16 21:03, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- Your argument is that from December of 01 to May of 02 the title was referred to as the undisputed WWF championship. The screen caps here show something else. Therefore since WP:PW goes by what actually happened during an event, whether the DVD cover says so or not, IN THE EVENT, the title was referred to as the WWF undisputed championship. -- bulletproof 3:16 21:11, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Another little thing from me to you...-- bulletproof 3:16 21:30, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- It’s basically what was used in the event that we put here. You're more than welcome to put "Undisputed WWF championship" for the RR02 article. -- bulletproof 3:16 21:49, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
WP:PW Policies
They are not simply conjured up out of thin air, they follow what Wikipedia recommend for pages, such as not predicting future events and not adding material that cannot be sourced, most PPV cards fit both as you cannot predict what matches will and will not happen at a PPV (remember the Punjabi Prison Match between Undertaker and The Crappy Khali, probably not, because although advertised it never happened[1], in fact three matches were changed that night), and you cannot accurately source the matches until after they have happened. The pro wrestling project has certainly turned into a joke. Controlling editors make editing wrestling articles just a pain, as they assume their way is the right way (even if people don't agree with them). This whole Vengeance nonsense shouldn't be happening, as WWE has announced all titles on the line. I'm pretty close to just quitting the project, and not even editing wrestling articles at this point. Do you have MSN messenger or an email address I could send to (or just email me first, as I have my email option on for Wikipedia). I have a few other things to say about this, but I'm not saying them here as it would offend some and I'm not getting blocked for that. RobJ1981 06:54, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

- I am trying to be nice. The Steiner Brothers are still officially in the match and should not be removed (is that better?). TJ Spyke 20:34, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Lex94
U didnt understand the point. I said that if a title holder is minorly injured, and the title is not vacated, he may not compete at vengeance. And if a title is defunct on Smackdown tonight or something similar, it will also not be held at Vengeance. Lex94 14:54, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
WWE Vengeance
Rather than starting a revert war, why don't you just wait until Friday and SmackDown to air? The only reason the ECW Title match is listed right now is so vandals don't keep adding Punk/Cor Von vs. Benoit/Burke. TJ Spyke 00:06, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Taker/Kennedy/Edge
The reason for mentioning them on the Vengeance talk page was simple, what I was talking about was how in the space of two days Taker is Champ, Kennedy is MITB and Edge is on RAW, 48 hours later Edge is MITB, then Champ, and both Taker and Kennedy are on the DL. It was an example of how quickly plans can change, and how announced matches (particularly those involving champions) can be scrapped or rewritten within a short period of time. Darrenhusted 01:54, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- "But a possibility of a change is NOT a reason to avoid listing what the match is currently and officially known as." This would be true except that in the case of Vengeance you have no idea what the ECW match will be just that it may happen, and by putting a speculative match on the PPV page then you are crystalballing. I apologize, I didn't pay close attention and thought you were removing it from the article. TJ Spyke 03:28, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
