Your edit on Same-sex parenting
[edit]Hey Msarre!
Thank you for trying to improve Wikipedia, and our coverage on Same-sex parenting. I did just undo your recent edit there, in part because it had no references and seemed to reflect an individual viewpoint, but moreso because it seemed to presume that the article was strictly about same-sex parenting in the United States", which is not the case. US Supreme Court rulings aren't going to change the status of or vastly impact the discussion of same-sex marriage in other nations... and even in the US, this is not a settled question, as there are people in power actively seeking to undo that court ruling and its impact (seeking "biblically-based" marriage is one of the goals of Project 2025.)
On a side note, you clicked the "minor" edit checkbox when making that addition. Any time you're adding information to the body of an article, it is not considered a "minor" edit. See WP:MINOR for more details.
We all went through missteps and learning when we started editing Wikipedia. I do hope that you stick with it! Let me know if you have any questions. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 12:22, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
