Paid articles: Darft:VC-6
Draft:VC-6
[edit]- Replying to this post:
Thank you Sir, for your interest in submitting draft to AfC. I've listed down below, few of my observances:
- A COI declaration template has to be disclosed in your userpage. Please see this about COI template.
- Draft's 'Overview' section dosent have inline citations.
- Youtube is not a reliable reference. Please see this on the same.
- You can see, VC-1 has reliable references as that of Microsoft etc. and patent details, which proves notability. Same details of VC-6 can be included in the draft.
- More suggestions, review and help is available at AfC Help desk and IRC Live Help.

Updates
[edit]- Thank you for your help. I really appreciate you taking the time to help a wikipedia newbie like me. I'll have a crack at your recommendations. --Mrmxf (talk) 10:14, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks again for your advice User:Gpkp. I hope that I have managed to put the right data for Draft:VC-6 on the talk page Draft_talk:VC-6 and my user page User:Mrmxf. I value your input and would appreciate any extra feedback that you micght be able to give that would help in the publication of this article. --Mrmxf (talk) 12:45, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- I've made some necessary changes to draft and added categories. You can update it on the same.--Gpkp [u • t • c] 16:12, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks User:Gpkp I've tweaked the categories and added the Multimedia compression and container formats template. Can I ask for more advice? How does the template get edited? Can I modify it to include the VC-6 line to the SMPTE row if my article is published? Thanks again for your help. --Mrmxf (talk) 08:36, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Mrmxf, you can see, there are 3 links on the template, where V is view, T is talkpage and E is edit template. But only articles are supposed to be linked in templates, and not drafts. Once VC-6 is published to article via AfC, it can be connected in the template. --Gpkp [u • t • c] 16:58, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks User:Gpkp I really appreciate your guidance and wisdom. --86.137.159.120 (talk) 17:08, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
