Request reason:

I was banned for being a sockpuppet. I believe this to be unnecessary. I was asked by a friend to help him update the picture on his Wikipedia page, as it was outdated, and he would like to show off his new weight loss. I had some problems uploading the picture, but I believe it was because he already uploaded the same file himself. In the end, I was able to make update it correctly and got banned. I remember reading something about waiting 1 year before appealing, but I can't find it ATM, but that is the reason for only getting my unblock request now. I understand that this was a case of meatpuppetry and I promise that I would not make an edit on behalf of others again, or break any other guidelines. Yamla didn't misunderstand anything. Your request described sock puppetry, not meat puppetry. You communicated with someone else and edited on their behalf. That's socking by proxy. It would be meat puppetry if you happened to do the same thing as other, blocked editors did but weren't in communication with them.
