[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Lewis Hamilton. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Class455 (talk) 20:32, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
Rafael Nadal locked page
[edit]Hi can you tell me why the above page is locked?. Can you change last year's French Open 3rd round to a WD as Nadal withdrew from the event and a 3rd suggests he was beaten in that round. Regards 31.200.139.181 (talk) 19:43, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi do you mind me asking would a WD for Withdrew from event look better as is used in Golf and Snooker etc. Regards 31.200.133.198 (talk) 14:01, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
In some ways I agree, but I feel that it needs to be recognised that he won two matches. In golf if a player withdraws he loses all his standing in that tournament i.e. his position, but in tennis it is like a loss in that . If a player withdraws before the final I do not think that a WD would be proper. Regards, MrkM00
