Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. Saying that you are in trouble would be misunderstanding the purpose of the warnings you have received. When you add something to a Wikipedia article, your addition needs to cite a source - and - the information added needs to be something that can be considered noteworthy.
We want you to edit Wikipedia, but to do so in a way that complies with the community's policies and guidelines. Persisting in ignoring these advisories could indeed lead to you losing your editing privileges, but even a sanction like that wouldn't really be "trouble". When you find some other editor disagrees with something you've done, take it up on the talk page of the article, pinging the other editor with a template like {{ping|username}}. Ok first all of I'm related to the actor and I don't think I'm adding non-important details. Also, I do believe this is kinda ridiculous that you are changing the skyline articles.

If you are related to the actor then you might have a conflict of interest and should abstain from editing that page (as your judgement might be affected by this). "Kinda ridiculous" does not change the fact that what you are adding is not important information - one way to test this is by thinking: is this really crucial information about the topic (or is it instead details only interesting to a very limited fan-group)? Also, much of it is a clear case of recentism. For both of these reasons (and additionally, because a lot of it sounds rather too promotional...), much of the information in the article should be removed. Of course, what you think is "important" might not necessarily be to outside, unbiased observers. However, if you think I am being too harsh, then the alternative is to find independent reliable sources (that is not, not affiliated with the high school, and not the local newspaper) which demonstrate that the information is important and not just bits of trivia... It probably does fall in the "reliable" category, but its coverage of local events does not mean they should be mentioned of Wikipedia, because Wikipedia isn't a newspaper... Again, there's a difference between routine events and noteworthy events (if the high school made national news because of something, then yes sure - but if it's just the Littletown Gazette [whatever the name, you get the picture] reporting about the local high school football team then it's not really important). If you are, as your behaviour so far leads me to presume, affiliated in some form with the high school (either as a [former/current] student, or [worse, since you should know better] an employee) then you also probably have a conflict of interest and this might be impairing your judgement of what is "important" and what is not. They don't seem particularly important to me, and they're all sourced to either non-independent sources such as the site of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (so again WP:PRIMARY) or a local news correspondent (as clearly indicated on the mlive.com pages), so nothing really significant - its a high school sports team, we'd expect routine mentions like that to make it into local news, and yet that does not make them anything but local news: the real question, as I said, is "Will this really be important to somebody looking at this in 10 years?" - I reckon that in 10 years (or actually, maybe even right now, since one of these dates back to 2012) all of the players and maybe even the coach will have moved on to something else, so no. Please also see WP:3RR and stop reverting until (ideally) we come to some form of agreement or we get the opinion of other editors. You've already been told about why such information does not go on Wikipedia. If you think I'm wrong, then the proper way to do this is not to keep edit warring your proposed changes back in; but instead to have a discussion about it, as per the WP:BRD process. Must I remind you again that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, "a reference work or compendium providing summaries of knowledge" - not simply a listing of every detail about something, we must only include the most concise and relevant information. That a school year in some high school is divided in trimesters (a common occurence) isn't particularly unique...
