That is incorrect. You see some outlying values in some of these plots—beyond the top or bottom hash marks. You'd better pay attention to those.
You glaringly omitted the sample sizes. Think about where the quartile boundaries are in a sample of only 3. That explains how the minimum and first quartile can coincide. Michael Hardy (talk) 20:35, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
