• That the top 6 CONCACAF teams in the FIFA World rankings will automaticaly qualify for the CONMEBOL Copa América.
• The draw of the CONMEBOL Copa América should be a week after the January FIFA World Rankings so they know who is the top 6 CONCACAF teams in the FIFA World Rankings.
• This will be the new format for the 16 team CONMEBOL Copa América.
