June 2022
[edit]Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Controversies must be discussed in articles
[edit]Hi, Mr. G. Price. Thank you for your edits. In addition to what DonIago said above, please be certain that a controversy is discussed in an article before you categorize that article's topic as being controversial. I have reverted several of your edits where the article does not mention any controversy. --Jeremy Butler (talk) 11:32, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hey Jeremy Butler, i'm really sorry about what happened i m just trying to be a new member of Wikipedia writing Controversies for Categories just normally without harm. Mr. G. Price (talk) 18:28, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- Because their controversies involving these films and are left on banned films cause of it. Mr. G. Price (talk) 18:29, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at 2012 (film), you may be blocked from editing. You've already been asked multiple times to be careful about adding categories to articles in cases where the article's content doesn't support the category. You need to be more careful about this. DonIago (talk) 13:23, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, sorry about what happened i m just trying to get categories normally without any harm i just don't want to get blocked cause i'm autistic, Donlago. Mr. G. Price (talk) 13:26, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me about it. Mr. G. Price (talk) 13:27, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- If you're serious about that then you need to review articles before adding categories to them, since in this case the article didn't even mention North Korea and yet you added a North Korea-related category. Or find ways to contribute other than adding categories. DonIago (talk) 13:28, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, sorry about that is just WatchMojo mentioned it on there list. Mr. G. Price (talk) 13:29, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- You were already told above that categories must be discussed in articles, and it's not exactly time-consuming to spot-check an article before adding such a specific category, so I'm not sure why you'd think that another site mentioning it would be sufficient. DonIago (talk) 14:52, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
- Okay then, glad you here Donlago. Mr. G. Price (talk) 15:41, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
