Gaming the system
[edit]I suggest you read gaming the system. S0091 (talk) 14:45, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
@Mr. Anonymous QQQ: please stop deliberately making unconstructive edits for increasing your edit count to gain Extended confirmed access. It is forbidden because it is gaming the system. Please read WP:PGAME AVSmalnad77 talk 13:27, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know about it, I will take immediate action to minimize the chances of it happening in the near future and beyond.
World War 111
[edit]The changes you made this morning don't seem to have worked out as you intended. I have reverted them and you may wish to make another attempt at them. Britmax (talk) 10:18, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- Do you meant the changes I did in World War III? Well you can change them if you need to, but I changed the spelling and grammar only partially because I do not have enough time.
Important notice
[edit]@Mr. Anonymous QQQ: After looking at some of your contributions (some of which I have reverted) I can see that you are copyediting by (probably) using the Grammarly browser extension. Many of your edits (such as this one) are disruptive because you are using British English spelling in an Article that is supposed to be written in American English, and changing it with no consensus. You have also responded to a comment about gaming the system, of which you have promised to stop, but your contributions say otherwise. You keep editing with no consensus and without double-checking if it fits the article. In Wikipedia articles, you should see the talk page banner that shows whether it uses American or British English (use own judgement if it doesn't exist), and you should look at the article and see if it has a consistent manual of style (for instance, not all articles should have hyphens [-] between double words, for example, right handed instead of right-handed). I assume you use Grammarly and when you use it, some of the edits are just wrong, such as this one, where you had some good contributions but the removal of the word "of" was just plain wrong. Grammarly makes mistakes, and it cannot operate as good when syntax is involved in an article. Sometimes, even the addition of some prepositions such as "the" in front of a word may be completely false despite its suggestions. Apart from that, if you do not take this notice seriously, you may be warned/blocked for violating WP:DISRUPTSIGNS and/or gaming the system to get extended-confirmed protected user rights as one editor has pointed out. Please try to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia guidelines before trying to leap for the gold. Cheers. Wretchskull (talk) 20:17, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
