Thank you.
The article "tour de munster" has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 20:59, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- One of the ways to show notability is to show that the subject has received substantial coverage in independent reliable sources. If newspaper or magazine articles have been written about the event, that would be that sort of coverage. See the general notability guidelines for more information. —C.Fred (talk) 22:02, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- 15600 hits on "" in Google..... I'll get back to you, thanks
Some other coverage incl TV and paper cuttings
PS... I keep finding my photos of the tour on the net since I went searching for you !!
- Bear in mind that it must be substantial coverage. The one-third of a sentence in the Irish Times '10 link above is just a passing mention. —C.Fred (talk) 22:38, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
