[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2009 Texas Longhorns baseball team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Texas Rangers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). fcs sports network poll
[edit]I noticed that you updated a lot of rankings for 2013 FCS teams. The coaches poll came out on the sixth but I can't seem to find a preseason Sports Network poll yet. Most of the updates you made seem to be the rankings from the final Sports Network poll of 2012 (which came out after the national championship game in January 2013). Can you provide me a link to a current poll that you used or did you mistakenly add rankings from the final poll last year? Bsuorangecrush (talk) 02:39, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
- I just found the 2013 NCAA Division I FCS football rankings page you created and clicked the source. The poll you used was actually the final Sports Network poll released prior to the playoffs last season. It says updated November 19, 2012 right on it. Thank you for the work but please be a little more careful in the future to not use inaccurate information. Bsuorangecrush (talk) 02:43, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
- I apologize. I will revert the information. Mpejkrm (talk) 02:49, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
- Everything has been fixed (thanks to you as well). I appreciate you pointing it out and look forward to working on the FCS pages this fall with you. Mpejkrm (talk) 03:05, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
D2/ BYU-Hawaii
[edit]I suppose you could debate on whether or not D2 schools are notable or not. However we do post the D2 Basketball Playoffs on Wikipedia, and if we can post the playoffs on here, then I would say postnig a regular participant in those playoffs is notable. BYU-Hawaii has made 6 of the last 8 men's basketball D2 playoffs after all and was in the Championship in 2011. Bigddan11 (talk) 02:39, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Season navboxes
[edit]FYI all of the navboxes within the category 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season navigational boxes and the cat itself are going to be deleted. There is a consensus from a previous TfD (here) that those should not exist. Jrcla2 (talk) 12:59, 10 September 2013 (UTC)

Hawaii and UC Riverside revisions
[edit]I would appreciate it if you did not revise something without first looking up how other pages are done. The rule when it comes to TV broadcasts for sporting events is that it needs to be on TV, not that it needs to be a national production. Are Fox Sports Southwest (Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State), Fox Sports Midwest (Creighton, Kansas State), Fox Sports South (Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee), Root Sports Northwest (Gonzaga, Portland), or any of the other regional sports affiliates national stations? No. However their team pages all list the games airing on those networks because you can watch the games on those TV stations. In this case, since Hawaii lists every home game on their website as airing on TV on OC Sports, then it should be listed. Since the Big West provided a new list of conference games that would air exclusively on ESPN3, it should be listed. That is how Wikipedia has always done their pages. If anything, you could debate that it should be regional coverage instead and national coverage, and in that case, you would have to include OC Sports no every Big West team page because Time Warner Cable provides coverage in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, with many of the OC Sports games being carried in those areas thanks to them being in the Big West.Bigddan11 (talk) 20:35, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
- The main issue that I have with this is that the station's names are very long and stretch the template out. It doesn't look good with the TV section stretched out longer than the score section. If there is a way to abbreviate all TV stations, maybe that would be ok. I feel like regional stations are not useful to a casual reader. Just my two cents. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Lukas Podolski, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. College baseball
[edit]Hi Mpejkrm, thanks for your work on college baseball. Two things - I see you have a draft season page for Maryland in your sandbox, do you want to paste it in article space? And second, there's no need to convert CBSB links to static links, if you create a season page a bot will do the conversion for you. Thanks again for your help, including catching my mistakes on the standings templates! Billcasey905 (talk) 17:16, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
- I did not know that a bot could do that. I'll keep that in mind. As for Maryland - it's not finished yet, I still have to do a few things, which I've been meaning to work on. I'll post it when I'm done which should be soon. Thanks! Mpejkrm (talk) 17:49, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

Rice Owls vs Lamar Cardinals - Change from "Postponed" to "Cancelled"
[edit]Just wondering if there has been official notification that the game at Reckling Park between the two teams postponed a couple of weeks ago will not be made up. Both the Rice Owl and Lamar Cardinal baseball schedules are still showing "Postponed" for the game. Not to say that there has been no notification of cancellation of the game, but an internet search did not turn up one for me. This is the only thing I found on Rice's site. There was a similar announcement on Lamar's site. Postponement Thanks for the edits on the page.LUSportsFan (talk) 19:15, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
