A friendly warning
[edit]An examination of your contributions to Wikipedia reveals that nearly 50% of your contributions to date have been simply to add links from the same website (one that shares your username) to various articles. Please be aware that this may be considered spamming, and if it appears that this account has been created simply to add the website link, then it will likely be blocked. I am refraining from doing so as not all your edits have been to simply add the link, so please consider this a friendly warning that adding the Movieland link to too many sites will draw undue attention towards yourself. Cheers. 23skidoo 03:50, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- I came here to also warn you about spamming links to Wikipedia. If your website is important enough to include in articles then it will be added by numerous other editors that contribute in ways besides adding links. I have removed the spam links from the articles. Vivaldi (talk) 04:11, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing.
Other editors, note that 144.160.5.25 (talk · contribs) has previously spammed the same site. Wmahan. 04:23, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. Wmahan. 02:42, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
This is in response to the message you left on my page. My only response is that you need to read the rules of conduct at Wikipedia. The adding of multiple links to the same website on multiple pages, particularly your own website, does indeed constitute spamming. Obviously I'm not alone in this, given the above notes. Note I only said it could be considered spamming in my original e-mail. Clearly, this has been proven in the affirmative. I would take the blacklisting warning posted by Wmahan seriously. 23skidoo 04:28, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
