Masters of the Microwave
[edit]The article Masters of the Microwave has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:53, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Re your message: First off, please calm down and remain civil. For bands to have articles on Wikipedia, they must meet certain requirements of notability. With your band being brand new with no released albums, it does not currently meet those requirements. Perhaps in the future when your band has a hit single or record, it will be notable enough for Wikipedia. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:02, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Re your message: I have no doubt that your band exists. The problem is not that there is doubt that it exists, but that it does not meet the notability guidelines for bands for inclusion on Wikipedia. As I said, it does not currently meet the guidelines and therefore was deleted. If your band works hard and has a hit single/album, it will be notable enough. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:08, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Re your message: Not a problem. If you have any further questions about Wikipedia, I would be happy to answer them for you. Please feel free to contact me again. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:02, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

- In case you competely missed Gogo's message, let me be blunt and straightforwards with you.
- Your band is not signed with a record lable. There are no sources on your article from several 3rd party sources that indicate nobility.
- We have rules here at Wikipedia regarding nobility.
- Gogo previously stated these rules. Also.
