User talk:Most reverted admin award

Anyone understand what's going on here? Why is this a user page rather than a Wikipedia page? What exactly are we measuring here? Is this user trying to claim some sort of official status, and if so is it justified? DJ Clayworth 15:44, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think this more on the humor side of things. It really doens't measure much (except how much vandals love you) and since it isn't that serious, why put it on wikipedia namespace? I guess the author wanted to remain anonymous, so he just created a page an userified it instead of putting it on Wikipedia: and watching the flames :) I think this needs some sort of barnstar-like award but I'm no good grpahic designer. -- (drini's page|☎) 20:04, 12 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It would help if it made more sense. What does it mean for an admin to "hold their axiom" and why am I listed as an "inactive" admin? android 79 03:50, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm guessing that "hold their axiom" means how long the user has been an admin; most of the folks who are in the category "Admins we know how many times they have been reverted, but we dont know how long they hold their axiom" have been on Wikipedia for a long time (in my case, a peak at my Talk page will show I've been an admin for just over 2 years & 1 month). If I am correct, then there is one interesting conclusion to be drawn from this survey: if you become an Admin, then you will get your user page vandalized. Only 35 Admins on the list have had their User page vandalized once time or never. (And I can't understand why so many people have it in for Sannse -- she's been around Wikipedia as long as me, is far more patient & friendly, AFAIK doesn't get into disputes over content, & her User page has been vandalized 66 times!) -- llywrch 02:12, 16 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
