[edit]Hi Rob,
Can you review again the ItsNat article and remove the spam tag? the first version was a very quick draft (see the frequent modifications), now is cleaned accordingly to the Wikipedia style. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmarranz (talk • contribs) 13:05, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

ICQ
[edit]Hello Morris,
Thanks for your help at the ICQ page. It's good to see the list of links to ICQ removed from the "External Links" section. Of course, the ONE remaining link is quite legitimate...so I can appreciate the removal of the "spam" tag.
Although I am not interested in spending much time on the ICQ article, I did a bit of "cleaning" last night, removing non-neutral justifications from the "Criticisms" section. However, the article is still very weak, and (I believe) lacks neutrality.
What about the "References" section? If you actually click on each of them, you find they are almost all ICQ sites (hardly a neutral source of reference), pro-ICQ, or simply spam sites. There is an evident lack of neutral references, and I feel the "spam" tag should be restored (or at least some tag to indicate that more reliable and impartial reference sources are required).
Thanks for helping to clean up some spam! (By the way, are you a real person or a bot?) Prof.rick 04:17, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Rick,
- I've restored the spam tag to ICQ as you suggested. I didn't spend a lot of time checking out the rest of the :article for spam, as the External Links seemed to be the worst of it. I'll take a look at the rest when I get :some free time. It's a mess right now, that's for certain. Keep up the good work on it. Thanks, :MorrisRob 04:41, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- THAT WAS FAST, and Thank YOU! Prof.rick 04:46, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi Rob,
Thanks again for your speedy work! You took care of a number of matters on my ICQ "to do" list. Although the article is much cleaner now, it's not an "ideal" article by any stretch of the imagination! I've work most of the night, trying to improve the article's neutrality. A lot has been accomplished in a surprisingly short time. However, I'd rather move on to more constructive articles, on musical matters. By the way, I am going to copy the "spam" user box from your User Page to mine! Best, Prof.rick 08:27, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
VoiceMale
[edit]I noticed you were the editor who tagged Voicemale for speedy deletion. First I want to say thanks for reading my material and reconsidering. Secondly, I was wondering what steps I should persue to ensure that I prove notabilty and create a solid article. Any help is greatly appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.64.134.225 (talk) 08:36, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Rob~
Prema Sai Baba is an idea stated by one man, that someone will be born someday. The article is tagged as a WPBiography but contains no details of any actions of a person alive or deceased or even fictional. It is also tagged in the scope of Hindu Mythology but this is comparable to saying the future child of Tammy Faye Baker is to be a part of the Holy Trinity and quailfies as Christian Mythology. I think the admins are dead wrong on this one and choosing to placate the Sai Baba faction with another entry. This article is the espousal of one man's doctrine at best and in that sense is originally flawed as a encyclopedic article. You might as well post an article on every person that holds a streetcorner sign that reads "The End is Near". Now let's see if I can get that article 'The Moon is made of Green Cheese' accepted to Wiki.--Iconoclast Horizon 14:33, 19 November 2007 (UTC) (For the record, the articles regarding Shridi Sai and Saytha Sai are legtimate because they existed and I don't dispute them.)
CHANGED TAG but it was Removed
[edit]Hi Rob~~
I changed the tag to regular deletion procedure this morning but it was removed along with my neutrality tag. ---Iconoclast Horizon 15:51, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
TAG REMOVED AGAIN! This is rediculous! I may be relatively new but this person who (User:Kkrystian) writes articles on the Sai Baba Movement just keeps deleting the tag. I seem to be folloing proper procedure at your direction but the NPOV and AfD tags are being deleted. Is that abuse?? I don't want to be the abuser and I am not altering the article. --Iconoclast Horizon 20:25, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Jesus the 2nd
[edit]I personally don't have an opinion about the Prema Sai Baba Issue either, I just didn't know wiki cited predictions of people as biographically mertiable. I understand that I didn't get the procedure right for deletion, then apparently didn't get it right again before someone swiftly deleted the tag. Instead, I think I am just going to write a biography article entitled Jesus the 2nd, since I can quote thousands of people that say he is to be born and cite lot's of references to the same effect. But I am sure that would get a speedy deletion tag in about 30 seconds. Since I am basiclly agnostic, I really shouldn't care but this future person doesn't seem notable.
I attempted to reinstate my afd tag but the guidelines I read state not to reinsert an AfD tag if it has been removed by anyone whomsoever. So I guess, I will just leave the article out there. Seems a little odd to leave an article about a prediction of a person on wiki just because one man says he is to be born again when many notable people get deleted for lacking enough sources. I give up! --Iconoclast Horizon 17:45, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
