Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Morningeveningnight, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Minnie evans contributions

[edit]

Hi @Morningeveningnight, I moved your contribution back to your sandbox at User:Morningeveningnight/Minnie Evans. An article on Minnie Evans already exists. Instead of creating a duplicate article, you need to make improvements to the existing Wikipedia article.

Some tips when adding to the existing article: When you add content to an article, think about how they work with the rest of the existing text. When you add information, make sure that information isn't already presented somewhere else in the article. If you're replacing text, make sure you don't remove anything important (unless it's not accurate). Only replace text that you've edited. We want to be respectful of the text that's already there, while making edits that improve the overall quality of the article. Always write out clear edit summaries that explain the edit you made.

And also make the additions in small edits. Give each section its own edit with clear edit summaries, so other readers can see how the article was developed. This is preferred rather than dumping all the new text at once into the article.

Check out this training module on editing existing articles for a quick refresher.

If you have any questions feel free to let me know. Looping in ProfBlkArt. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:21, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hello, Morningeveningnight. Thank you for your work on Catherine James Catti. User:Netherzone, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thank you for creating this article. I made some improvements to it, adding two collections, she now meets notability criteria for NARTIST.
