[edit]Hello, I'm Binksternet. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Talk:Madonna albums discography seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 15:25, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:02, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Binksternet. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to List of best-selling albums because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Do not go against talk page consensus at Talk:Ray of Light#RfC: Ray of Light album sales worldwide. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 16:36, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at List of best-selling albums, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Stop going against the RfC at Talk:Ray of Light#RfC: Ray of Light album sales worldwide. Binksternet (talk) 16:51, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at List of best-selling albums shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Binksternet (talk) 16:52, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ray of Light. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 23:24, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

April 2013
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at List of best-selling albums. Your edits have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 23:52, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did at List of best-selling singles, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. I´m sorry, i promise I'll never make an edit war, please unlocked my page
Decline reason:
Pending response to concerns noted by Kww below. Once you have addressed these concerns, you may place another request to be unblocked. --auburnpilot talk 20:55, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I turned that into an unblock request so that other admins will see it. I won't unblock you yet. When I blocked, I set two conditions: stop edit-warring and pay attention to chart sourcing guidelines. You promised to stop edit-warring, but you did not promise to pay attention to chart sourcing guidelines. Will you promise that? No more mediatraffic? No more madonna-charts.com? No charts listed at WP:BADCHARTS? No sites listed at WP:Record charts#websites to avoid?—Kww(talk) 01:12, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
I promess Kww, no more mediatrafic,no more madonnacharts!!!!!
I promise I'll never put the information of mediatrafic or madonnacharts.
- You are unblocked. Remember, though, if you start up this edit war again or start including charts listed on WP:BADCHARTS again, I'll block again.—Kww(talk) 21:36, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
Edit warring
[edit]I came very close to blocking you again. When your edits are reverted, read the comments about why. The soundtrack of the bodyguard is listed at ABPD, just under the title "Guarda-Costas", the Portuguese title for the movie. Mauri96 said so when he reverted you, and I double-checked: he's right.—Kww(talk) 23:10, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
- Your edits don't seem to have anything to do with the difference between 750,000 and 1,000,000. You are simply completely removing the entry and claiming that no certification existed at all. Why are you doing that?—Kww(talk) 02:25, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

Madonna's certified sales at List of best-selling music artists
[edit]You might want to refrain from making the same edits over and over again. We have talk pages on wikipedia, once your edit is reverted you should open up a discussion thread and discuss what you mean in detail. Here is my file for Madonna's detailed available certified sales. Scroll down until you come to Brazil. Make sure to follow correct certification-levels and release dates of albums, singles and videos. I'm going to revert your edit again. Once you go over my file and you see you need to discuss something, be sure to start a discussion at Talk:List of best-selling music artists. Do not make the same edits again, properly engage in a discussion on the talk page.--Harout72 (talk) 01:52, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
Stop changing the figure for Brazil's certifications. Brazil's total certified sales for Madonna is correct and has been double-checked. You have been asked not to make such changes, yet you made the same edits again without ever discussing anything. That is disruptive editing, and if you continue to disrupt the list again, I will inform one of the administrators.--Harout72 (talk) 21:29, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
