Angela Merkel article
I noticed you removed many interwiki and external links when you provided Merkel's languages on her article page. Please do not do it again, editors' hard work went into providing those links and categories. It amounts to vandalism, please do not persist. Thank you, and on a side note, I like what you've done with the linguistic capabilities of world leaders list. Aaрон Кинни (t) 10:27, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Pocahontas
You accused me of vandalism when I wasn't. I simply changed a non-existing link to an existing one. It said before on the edit page: [[Beauty and The Beast(1995 film). I changed the 1995 to a 1991, as that was when the film was released. Just to clear things up. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 5 octaves (talk • contribs) 02:58, 18 February 2007 (UTC).
Edits to Garth Turner
Hi, Moogle. I'm going to remove your AIV request, because of the policy at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Dealing with edits by the subject of the article. If, as seems likely, these edits are by Turner's wife, they may be considered an attempt to remove or alter content that is biased against Turner. As such, we should be very careful in how we deal with the situation. The key is to ensure that all statements, both favorable and unfavorable, are well-cited. I don't know enough about the situation to tell whether the citation she wants to change is particularly biased or not, but the edits look like good-faith attempts to improve the article to me, not vandalism. Please tread carefully on this one. Thanks. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 07:19, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Re Silver Surfer
Thanks for informing. Keep up the good work. Zuracech lordum 18:17, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
My edits to Valencia High School (Santa Clarita, California)
I am sorry about my edits to this article. I've been doing it since There have been people editing in my name to the article on false info, and quite truthfully embarrassing me on it. I would like it cleaned up also, or even better, have the article locked so noone edits it anymore. I will stop these rude edits. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stepup.stepout (talk • contribs) 06:55, 10 April 2007 (UTC). Stepup.stepout 06:55, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
change I made to articles
Hi, I thank you for reverting my edits, I try to be as accurate as possible but it looks like I did not understand something.
Your recent edits
Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 17:25, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Gccazlogo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Gccazlogo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:07, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Oops!
Hi!
Sorry for accidentally reverting some changes you had made -- I had only looked at the top rev and didn't see that you had been working on it ... Sorry :) Moogle10000 08:34, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- I was wondering about that - but all is cool - thanks for restoring my edits. --Jack-A-Roe (talk) 08:39, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Video Edits
Hi, I was wondering if you actually watched the video I linked to in the edit I did on Unobtrusive JavaScript? While I realize that it's mine and can be classified as self promotion, I don't make any money from it and don't think that detracts at all from the educational value. --Jseifer (talk) 23:37, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Image:JanetNapolitanoIraq.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:JanetNapolitanoIraq.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I8 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is available as a bit-for-bit identical copy on the Wikimedia Commons under the same name, or all references to the image on Wikipedia have been updated to point to the title used at Commons.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:JanetNapolitanoIraq.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Sdrtirs (talk) 15:35, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Gccazlogo.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Gccazlogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:23, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Linguistic capabilities of modern world leaders
I have nominated Linguistic capabilities of modern world leaders, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Linguistic capabilities of modern world leaders. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Proposed deletion of Kobojsarna
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Kobojsarna, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- No evidence of notability.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Twinkle usage
Please be more careful when using automated tools like Twinkle to revert edits and give talk page warnings. On Safety Management Systems, the edits you reverted were a removal of spam content; your revert added the offending content back into the article. --LP talk 06:24, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Axel Schoenert Architectes Associes
There was a speedy deletion of Axel Schoenert Architectes Associes page which is strange because the article has been reviewed by Wikipedia administratiors before and was accepted. I reread the text again and deleted each word that could possible considered as "promotional". I kept the encyclopedic language, just stating the facts in the text. Just wanted to add that the page about the design naturally sounds "different" because it needs the despription of the design itself. But it has nothing to do with "advertising". The company makes a big contribution in the art, their projects are very original, and a lot of people would like to know those facts about the company. That is why I decided to create the page. Please reconsider. Thanks a lot in advance. Kind regards,
