Ok, if you saw what I did on spoon, that was accidental. Didn't mean to do it.

Hi, Todd. I reverted your close at the above again and undid your page move.

  1. It is completely out of policy to close a discussion you've been involved in.
  2. When you closed it the first time, there was no consensus to do anything.
  3. Consensus is not determined by a numerical vote count, but is weighted by the strength of the argument presented. Neither your first vote (which showed a misunderstanding of the issue at hand) nor your second vote, which you apparently made in the same edit as your second improper close as it is gone now (and was not even an argument) will be considered by the closer when considering consensus.
  4. There exists now a rough consensus to merge the above referenced article and another article. There isn't any indication anyone favored moving the list of cities to the list of municipalities, which is the action you performed.

In short, you made a bollocks up mess here not once, but twice. Although any uninvolved editor can close any discussion that they can carry out the close for (in other words that do not involve deletion), only administrators should close discussions that are controversial or technically difficult (which this one is as it involves merging two articles and their histories into a third article)

I should have left you a note the first time, but got busy IRL and forgot. For that I apologize. However, a key policy here, WP:AGF, should have indicated to you that you shouldn't have closed it again.

I've now wasted over an hour of my time on this, and an administrator is going to have to waste some more time deleting the pages your reverted moves created. I'd strongly suggest you refrain from closing any further discussions for a considerable period of time. Spend time looking over closes at AfD, and other move discussions until you understand much better what is going on. Thanks. John from Idegon (talk) 23:08, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Misclick?

[edit]

Hey - you just rolled me back on Aberdeen F.C. here. Was this intentional? If so, can I ask why you reverted? Thanks! — fox 00:36, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It was a mistake. Sorry for that! Todd (talk) 00:45, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No worries :) Just checking! — fox 03:12, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Youtube TV, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

Your draft article, Draft:Youtube TV

[edit]

Hello, Monosodium23. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Youtube TV".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Pkbwcgs (talk) 14:02, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
