I must be answering you in about two wrong places. I hope this gets to you. I tried to edit a page, was able to see what I did in Preview, but when I actually saved what I did, I do not see it showing up in the search. I do not know what I did wrong. Thanks Monkeysisters

What page are you trying to edit? I looked at your contributions Special:Contributions/Monkeysisters and I only see talk and user edits. It could be that you didn't save it (maybe your browser glitched?) or it could be that the article was deleted. I am trying to edit sock monkey. Under pop culture, I was trying to add information about my own company Monkey Moments telling about our five year adventure and adding an outside link to my website.

It's not entirely clear to me why the edit did not show up in your contribution history -- perhaps an edit conflict or a dropped connection. In any case, I would recommend you not try to add the information back if it is about you. We generally require that information be verifiable with reliable sources. Advertising is discouraged and it is suggested that editors not write about themselves.

That being said, your edits are showing up fine here, so it was probably just some technical glitch.

No...I did not add the above. Wow. I am not even sure where I would add this or how. I looked at the tutorials, but didn't see any reference to signing up with the above info. I am not sure what to do next? Thanks.

You appear to already be logged in. Do you mean add your company's info? Like I said, unless you can prove that your company is inherently notable, I would shy away from it. - Revolving Bugbear 19:26, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are you referring to this edit to User:204.169.201.129? It is the first registered edit by your account and it attempts to link to www.monkeymoments.net/ but the edit was made to a strange page which has nothing to do with sock monkey. Note that Wikipedia:External links#Advertising and conflicts of interest says: "You should avoid linking to a website that you own, maintain or represent".
