[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Meteora (album), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Nomination of Everywhere I Go (Song) for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Everywhere I Go (Song) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Everywhere I Go (Song) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bennydigital (talk • contribs) 14:40, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Your articles on album tracks
[edit]Please see WP:NSONGS: not all songs are notable according to Wikipedia guidelines - in particular, songs that appear on notable albums do not warrant separate articles unless they meet quite high notabilty standards of their own (such as appearing in a national chart). Familiarisation of that guideline will enable you to select subjects for your articles that won't be deleted or reduced to redirects.
Also please note the need to provide references for all the assertions made in the articles. Even describing a song's style or popularity has to be backed up and verifiable, even for things you know to be so. RichardOSmith (talk) 21:46, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Per my above comment, I strongly believe this article about an album track should be a redirect to the album it appears on. You have reverted my edit to make it so without explanation. I have provided further explanation at Talk:No More Sorrow (Song) and would be grateful if you would engage in the discussion there. RichardOSmith (talk) 21:25, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
- As you have continued to edit the article but not discussed the notability I have restored the redirect. To recreate the article again without engaging in discussion would be edit warring and may lead to editing restrictions. RichardOSmith (talk) 07:16, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Kick In the Teeth
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Kick In the Teeth requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. RichardOSmith (talk) 21:26, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at Kick In the Teeth
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Kick In the Teeth, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 21:42, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Young (Hollywood Undead Song), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://christine-miller.net/lawnmowers-pictures-of-hollywood-undead-concert.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:18, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. RichardOSmith (talk) 07:18, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Young (Hollywood Undead Song). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. RichardOSmith (talk) 07:58, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Papa Roach
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Papa Roach, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. HrZ (talk) 17:44, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Numb (Linkin Park song). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Friginator (talk) 18:25, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at New Divide, you may be blocked from editing. Friginator (talk) 18:26, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning; the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Hard to See, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Friginator (talk) 15:19, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Hollywoodundead2011.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 11:05, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Request reason:
I do not see why i was blocked i wasn't doing anything wrong... I wouldn't edit a genre if it wasn't true, but obviously I was doing something wrong. BUT if you listen to the stuff I was editing you would see that it is correct for an example, I edited Hollywood Undead's genre, I changed it too, Nu metal, rap rock, alternative rock, rapcore, rap metal, alternative metal, crunkcore (2008-2010) and alternative hip hop. if you listen to Hollywood Undead's new album most of the album can be classed as nu metal and also about five songs on their album swan songs could be classed as nu metal. I don't see how I was doing something wrong. So please could I be unblocked. Thank you.
Decline reason:
Only a week ago you were blocked for "repeatedly changing genres without consensus and causing disruption", and you've done the exact same thing again. So, no. 狐 Dhéanamh ar rolla bairille! 21:00, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Im sorry for not discussing it, but I don't no how to :/ wiki is a bit confusing and I'm new to it i'm not 100% sure how to work it so if you please could unblock me i will try and discuss the genres with others. please don't be hard on me. I was only changing the genres because i thought they were correct, it's not like they wasn't true.
Decline reason:
Your edits here and here show that you, in fact, do "know how to". Additionally, even though you are able to post unblock requests on your user talk page, you do not appear interested in responding to the several editors that posted warning and other messages here. You may be able to find a way to convince an administrator that you will change your behavior, but claiming ignorance of process will not suffice. Tiderolls 06:24, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

I only knew how to do that because it said "View Source" I don't no how to get to that page with that. Please i would really like to be unblocked :( it's not very fair that I'm blocked now forever :( can't I just have three strikes as such, this being my first. I only know how to edit that stuff because i copied other people and yes i didn't pay any attention to those warnings but i did not fully understand what to do lol, i know how to request to be unblocked because it looked simple haha. i properly should of read more of it to understand it but i didn't and i'm very sorry. But please may you be so kind to unblock i'll do my best to make sure you won't have to block me again and i apologize once again about not discussing the genres with other. So please could you give a guy another chance?. Thank you :)
Decline reason:
This is incoherent and unconvincing. On the basis of your contributions, I do not believe that unblocking you would benefit Wikipedia, and it appears likely that you do not have the competence required to contribute constructively. Sandstein 19:48, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

You're not blocked forever, you're blocked indefinitely. If you are sincere, and you can convince an administrator that you are sincere, it's possible that you can be unblocked. For my money, I would recommend that you agree, up front, to never edit another music genre without discussion. Not even once, not even if it is obviously incorrect. Your entire problem begins and ends with this statement, above on this very page - "I wouldn't edit a genre if it wasn't true..." You don't get to make that call. Reliable sources do. We discuss those sources, come to a consensus agreement, and then change the genre. Never before. If you can do that, and if you're convincing, there's hope.
That said, I saw this edit in your history. What's the purpose in adding the "DO NOT CHANGE/REMOVE ANY OF THE GENRES LISTED. THANK YOU." to that edit? Again, these things are discussed first - you don't get to arbitrarily declare your version and only your version to be definitive. That's not how this works. How am i meant to convince a administrator? lol I don't know how to talk to one, can someone help pleas?. Thanks
- Not to put too fine a point on it, but a good way to convince an administrator to unblock you would be to read my comments above and respond to them in some coherent manner. You could start by showing that you understand why you were blocked and what you should do differently in the future. If you don't plan to edit, then congratulations - enjoy reading the encyclopedia. You may do this as often as you wish, even while blocked. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 03:04, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
New request
[edit]Can someone help me please? I keep asking to be unblocked and i have apologised in all of my requests and I promised I would discuss the pages with other and I've asked and asked and even begged but no one will unblock me, and I think it's a bit harsh. Any suggestions on what I should do?. Thank you
- User:Ultraexactzz left you clear instructions above. Your requests are not convincing, and as some have stated, incoherent in some respects. It would help if you sign your posts; you can learn more by reading Wikipedia:Signatures. You also need to learn to use edit summaries (see Help:Edit summary). Post a convincing message stating why you should be unblocked. I am watching your talk page (possibly others are as well) and will let the other admins who have posted here know that you are interested in helping here. Tiderolls 23:21, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm starting to get annoyed with this now :/ no one is going to give me a second chance are they? and okay i can learn more by reading those yes but im not going to read it if im blocked, it's just wasting my time. If one of you was me and i was you i would unblock you because..well thats just what i'd do because if they are sorry for not consulting others and promised they would in the future they deserve a second chance. And yeah it might not sound convincing but if i promise to do something i do it but because you dont no me you dont give a sh*t :/. so really could someone have a heart and unblock me?
