You're supposed to notify people when you mention them on the Administrators noticeboard
[edit]There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Guys, does this look suspicious to anyone else?. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 14:35, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- yes, I reported this issue!— Preceding unsigned comment added by Monkeybear5000 (talk • contribs)
- I mean you're supposed to notify any other editors who are connected to any issue you report. Also, why didn't you report the issue under the account Hatofcleverness7, the account that made the edit? If you're not just dishonestly impersonating Hatofcleverness7, please log in under that account and verify that both accounts belong to you. Ian.thomson (talk) 15:12, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Yes both accounts belong to me, I tried to change it and it is just confusing things now (Hatofcleverness7 (talk) 15:21, 20 June 2014 (UTC)) - please do help me remove that comment, it isnt true I now understand. As for not doing it properly I am new to this I havent made very many edits. I am trying to remove something I wrote which is not true, please can you help.
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:07, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
