Thanks for your contributions to Monique Reymond. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has too many problems of language or grammar and the citations are too unclear for a biography of a living person. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 22:56, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you are absolutely correct! I am going back through and doing a very big edit. Thank you so much! Monique Reymond (talk) 23:46, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I would be grateful if you checked the new edit. Monique Reymond (talk) 03:29, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Your submission at Articles for creation: Monique Reymond (December 24)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Jaireeodell was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: To be "notable" as a WP:Creative the article needs reliable, secondary, independent sources that support the subject's "major role" as a creative. The LA Times story about hypno-yoga comes close, but it's only one story and not about the main subject of this draft. (Please also see: WP:COI.) --

Hi Jaireeodell - I don't understand how the LA Times class is only "close". the article is about my class and the experience, so how am I irrelevant: I'm very open to critique, but I am feeling a bit squelched by "the man". I didn't anticipate sexism on this site, but that's what my experience is. It's truly disappointing. Monique Reymond (talk) 02:49, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Monique Reymond Sexism on Wikipedia is well-documented; see Gender bias on Wikipedia. I hope that the AfC decision does not discourage you from persisting. The LA Times is an example of the kind of sources a subject needs, but the subject of the article is not substantially about "Monique Reymond" ... it's about the hypno-yoga. Given that I could not find reliable, independent, secondary sources about the biography of "Monique Reymond," I did not think I could defend the entry in WP:AfD. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. Sorry and good luck. -- Jaireeodell (talk) 03:14, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was the teacher of the class. I created the program at hollywood forever with the owner. I taught the only class that was covered in the times or any major publication and I brought on the hypnotist. Not relevant? gender bias. indeed. Monique Reymond (talk) 03:19, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
so many men on this site are irrelevant and not taken down. look up harijiwan. nobody bothers him. nobody has written about him. Perhaps you will see my frustration. I only hope so. Monique Reymond (talk) 03:20, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I see your frustration. I also agree that "so many men on this site are irrelevant." I do hope that an entry about you someday meets WP:Notability. You might find some support at WikiProject Women in Red. -- Jaireeodell (talk) 03:34, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
how am I not notable? I am notable in too many areas? should I go back to the kitchen? seeing my frustration isn't helping, perhaps you could try that on instead of placing yourself above me. Monique Reymond (talk) 03:37, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cancelled by a male stranger on wikipedia! yay me! Monique Reymond (talk) 03:38, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
