Information icon Hello Moncult. I have reversed your recent edits to Ahmed Ghanem and Egypt in the eyes of the world because they did not appear to be constructive. You added the code #REDIRECT to the article 'Ahmed Ghanem'. That bit of code should never be included in articles. It is a "magic word" that causes readers to be redirected from a mostly blank page to an article. If the code is in an article, it causes problems for parsers and browsers.

At 'Egypt in the eyes of the world' you created a bulleted list of facts about the project. Most of that information was already in the article 'Ahmed Ghanem'. I moved the two new sources you added, MENA and أخبار الأدب, to 'Ahmed Ghanem'. If you wish to write an article about 'Egypt in the eyes of the world' separate from 'Ahmed Ghanem', please write in prose, rather than simply a list of facts. If you would like some help in creating an article, the good people at Wikipedia:Articles for creation may be able to help you. Thanks, and happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 02:05, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Egypt in the eyes of the Italians

[edit]

Hello Moncult,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Egypt in the eyes of the Italians for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 19:45, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Ahmed Ghanem.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
