Speedy deletion of Grand Ayatollah Seyed Reza Hosseini Nassab
[edit]A tag has been placed on Grand Ayatollah Seyed Reza Hosseini Nassab, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. FlyingToaster 00:12, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry case
[edit]You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Mohammadali1214 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. FlyingToaster 00:14, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Better and better!
[edit]Sorry as I am to see that you're not giving up on recreating an article that was determined repeatedly to not be notable, I couldn't help but notice how much your article attempts improved after each was deleted. At first you were creating basically copyright violations of other articles. Then you began to write your own material. Then you added links, and then references. This latest article has an image, references, and an infobox! If you don't mind my saying so, your sockpuppeting is teaching you a lot about editing Wikipedia and you're becoming very good at it.
So, I wanted to ask for your help. As an ayatollah, I'm sure you know a great deal about Islam and perhaps Islamic education in Canada. Our articles on both subjects need work - better references, better citations, and better writing. You're in a great position to help us, and to increase the quality of Muslim articles here on Wikipedia. What would it take to convince you to stop writing articles about Mr. Nassab, and start writing articles about Muslim beliefs and practices? Wouldn't you make your mark more poignantly if your edits were improving content and not just being deleted?
Perhaps you feel like I've been against you, but I'm only trying to follow Wikipedia's guildelines for notability. If you're willing to give it a shot, I would gladly help you out in doing productive edits here, perhaps through the Adopt-a-User program. So, what do you say? Your account here will probably be blocked for sockpuppetry, but since we are encouraged to ignore all rules, I'm inviting you to make another account and email me, saying it's you and you're ready to contribute productively here. If your intentions are good and you agree to stop creating articles on Mr. Nassab, let's work together to improve the content on Islam. What do you say? FlyingToaster 00:31, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
