Welcome!

Hello, Mochachocca, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  Karmafist 12:57, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted a few of your edits relating to this term. It's not notable as an encyclopedia article, except as another word for chav. Google turns up lots of hits, but none apparently matching your usage or etymology. Thank you for contributing - would you consider adding 'snaf' to Chav as a synonym? - mholland 23:20, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Very interesting... sadly, however, we need to keep Wikipedia an encyclopaedia. See WP:NOT for what should not go into it. Council housed and violent maybe, and I haven't reverted your edit, but I am sure that someone else will. haz (user talk) 19:54, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just a quick note - whenever you want to return a page to its previous state because someone has done bad edits to it, go into the page history (fifth tab along the top - says history), click on the edit you want to restore to, click edit this page, and save (preferably with an Edit summary). Hope that helps! Sam Vimes 20:49, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Leo Blair (senior)

[edit]

I have nominated Leo Blair (senior), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leo Blair (senior). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Deiz talk 12:35, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Care value base has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Single reference; looks like one author's "word-smithing" of principles already in nursing ethics and similar articles on ethics.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. jsfouche ☽☾Talk 16:50, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
