Proposed deletion of Ejscript

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ejscript, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Response to proposed deletion

[edit]

I'm not sure if these comments should go here or in Talk:Ejscript, I'm cross posting till someone can guide me:

Removed the flag for deletion message. I've added some extra 3rd party references and citations.

Ejscript is new and there is not a lot of 3rd party references yet. However, it is a very new open source project implementing the emerging ECMAscript 4 standard which is being discussed in the ECMAScript page and at [[1]] web site. Ejscript is noteworthy, because it is the first such implementation of ES4 available. The [ES4 standards group] is tracking progress on several implementations and Ejscript is currently one of the most advanced in implementing the specifications. Ejscript is used by Samba and by Appweb Web Server. See the [tracking spreadsheet].

Other references include [Francis Cheng's Adobe Blog]

As new references develop, I'll add them to the article to keep it current.. Mob590 (talk) 22:46, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Ejscript

[edit]

I have nominated Ejscript, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ejscript. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Ironholds 23:04, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
