Mediation

When there is a dispute over content for which there seems to be no end in sight, it may be time for mediation.

But mediation should be a last resort. So, if after you have tried getting a Third opinion or making a Request for comment, and the problem is still deadlocked, it may be time to check in with Dispute resolution requests. The Dispute resolution guide offers general advice.

Clean it up and submit for review

[edit]

I have moved your article to Draft:Trygve "Tryg" Myhren because it isn't ready for main space. The references for the most part don't appear to provide significant and independent coverage of the topic, and there are several citations that need consolidation. It comes across as promotional too, which isn't acceptable for main article space. Also review Wikipedia:Manual of Style; we don't use title case in headings. You really need clean this up and submit it for review if you want it published.

If you have been paid either directly or indirectly by the subject, you have a mandatory legal requirement to disclose this, as you agreed to do so when you created your account. See WP:PAID for more information. ~Anachronist (talk) 00:50, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mandatory paid editing disclosure

[edit]
Information icon

Hello MntDen. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:MntDen. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=MntDen|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:16, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
